A man was life flighted after a two-vehicle accident on state Route 11 about a quarter-mile south of the state Routes 7/267 exit at about 5:40 p.m. Monday. According to St. Clair Township officer Josh Jackson, a Nissan Xterra rear-ended a Hyundai Tuscan. Jackson said the driver of the Xterra was at fault and was flown from the the Beaver Local Athletic Complex to a hospital. The accident remains under investigation, Jackson reported the driver of the Xterra said he fell asleep. St. Clair Police were assisted by Calcutta and Glenmoor fire/EMS personnel, North Star EMS and Calcutta Towing. Both vehicles were towed.
