CHESTER, W.Va. -- One man was killed in a crash at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Routes 30 and 8 in Hancock County
According to Sheriff Ralph Fletcher's office, it appears the driver of a northbound pickup turned left from Route 8 onto Route 30 and into the path of an eastbound mini-van.
The driver of the pickup was killed. His passenger was released at the scene with no apparent injuries, the sheriff's office said. The mini-van driver was treated on scene for minor injuries but was subsequently arrested on an out-of-state warrant on unrelated charges.
The sheriff's office did not name any of the people involved.
