EAST LIVERPOOL — A pasta dinner fundraiser event has been scheduled by friends of the family of 17-month-old Armani Slappy, who passed away May 21 following a tragic accident at his home.

A pasta dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the East Liverpool Area Community & Learning Center, 110 Maine Blvd. Carryouts will be available and delivery to businesses will be provided upon request. The center is located next to and just north of East Liverpool High School.

The food is being prepared and served by friends of the family and all proceeds from the dinner will go to the family.

The meal consists of pasta, salad, rolls, desert and a beverage. The price is $9 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the center daily between noon and 6 p.m., though walk-ins are welcome.
