A defense attorney for Jaime Rickerd, 37, Ravine Street, East Liverpool, filed a motion for a competency evaluation which was granted by Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton. Lisbon man gets at least 10 years in child porn case

LISBON — A Lisbon man accused of multiple felony counts related to his possession of nude images of children was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison. Matthew Spack, 38, state Route 172, appeared Friday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court for sentencing before Judge Megan Bickerton, who ordered consecutive sentences for each count, bringing the total to 10 to 11 years in prison since two counts warranted indefinite sentences of two to three years each for pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, a second-degree felony. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set Sept. 9 for David Robert Boyd, 29, Louisville, Ky., charged with possessing criminal tools and solicitation for allegedly offering sexual activity for a fee by texting a tow truck driver who had provided vehicle service to him on June 1 at Sheetz in Calcutta. Municipal LISBON — A Ravenna man accused of arranging a sex for hire meeting with an undercover agent got caught in traffic at the Salem Super Cruise when he tried to drive away from the meeting spot Thursday after seeing police coming his way.
