LISBON -- A Salineville man withdrew his motion to suppress evidence and entered a guilty plea recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
David M. Donaldson, 48, Academy Street, Salineville, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, with one of the charges amended from a second-degree felony, and to a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case. Sentencing was set Dec. 11.
Charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs will be dismissed.
Donaldson possessed methamphetamine, psilocyn and $220 on April 3, 2025.

LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set Oct. 7 for David E. Gromley, 43, Railroad Street, Kensington, charged with domestic violence for allegedly hitting a woman multiple times in the face on Sept. 28 in Kensington.
A status conference hearing and pretrial was set Oct. 7 for Brandon S. Gust, 27, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with disorderly conduct and possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly being intoxicated and kicking the door of a business on June 22 on South Broadway Avenue in Salem. When he was taken into custody on Oct. 1 on an active warrant, he allegedly possessed a used needle syringe.
A pretrial was set Nov. 30 for Tammy D. Kennedy, 57, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, charged with failure to comply and obstructing official business for allegedly getting out of her vehicle, calling for a ride and leaving the scene of a traffic stop even thought she was told not to leave on Sept. 25 in Leetonia.
A pretrial was set Nov. 30 for Christopher M. Chadwick, 27, Brooklyn Avenue, Salem, charged with falsification for allegedly calling police regarding a reckless operator and misleading police on Oct. 1 in Salem.
