LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Dustin James Brooks, 39, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was bound over to the country grand jury for fifth-degree felony violation of a protection order and misdemeanor criminal trespass for allegedly violating the terms of a protection order by entering the property of a protected person on July 31 in East Liverpool.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Sept. 23 for Joseph D. Haynes, 46, North Pearl Street, Columbiana, charged with fourth-degree felony disrupting public service and misdemeanors of aggravated menacing, assault and criminal trespass. On May 2 in Salem, Haynes allegedly came to a woman's residence after previously being trespassed from the home, allegedly threw her to the ground, spit in her face and pulled her hair, causing harm to her back, neck and face. He also allegedly took her cell phone and threw it in an attempt to stop her from calling for help.
A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 23 for Davilynn Tasea Mitchell, 35, Youngstown, charged with fourth-degree felony burglary for allegedly trespassing in an attached garage at a residence in St. Clair Township on Sept. 15.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Sept. 21 for Gordon G. Appel, 30, Main Street, Wellsville, charged with fifth-degree felony breaking and entering and misdemeanor obstruction official business for allegedly breaking into an unoccupied space on Main Street, Wellsville on Sept. 14 and when police arrived, did not stop when ordered to stop running.
A pretrial was set Nov. 16 for Michael Myers, 55, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with assault for screaming at another man and striking him on Aug. 5, 2025 in St. Clair Township.
A sentencing hearing was set Sept. 21 for Brock Ray Ward, 43, East Sixth Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded guilty to domestic violence for smacking a woman in the face on Sept. 13 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Nov. 23 for April Dawn Allen, 50, Jennings Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for swinging and punching at the victim in East Liverpool on Sept. 15.
A pretrial was set Sept. 28 for Alex Eugene Farnsworth, 33, Ephriam Street, East Liverpool, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly harassing a woman and threatening to burn her house down on Aug. 30 in St. Clair Township.
Daniel Lee Shoaff, 66, North Howard Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and given credit for one day served in jail for public indecency expose private parts for being in a lit pavilion at Centennial Park with his pants around his ankles on May 28 in Salem, with officers advised by dispatch that surveillance video showed him touching himself, the affidavit said.
A pretrial was set Oct. 5 for Ryan J. Faulkner, 31, Y & O Road, Wellsville, charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly violating a protection order on Sept. 16 in Madison Township.
Joseph Dantonio, 51, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended and credit for one day served, leaving 29 days still to serve for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, with 40 hours community service ordered and completion of a prostitution prevention course. He was ordered to have no contact with minors outside of church services. He also must forfeit $180 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. Dantonio responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $180, then arrived in New Waterford on Sept. 13 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements and the money.
A pretrial was set Nov. 9 for Shaun J. Evans, 49, Freedom, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money for one hour, agreeing to bring the woman a pepperoni roll with sauce, and then coming to the meeting site in New Waterford on Sept. 15 with the money, pepperoni roll with sauce and the phone used to make the arrangements.
Jeffrey Paul Schriner, 47, McDonald, was fined $500, sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served, and ordered to complete a prostitution prevention course and 20 hours community service for possessing criminal tool. A charge of engaging in prostitution was dismissed at the request of the prosecutor due to problems with discovery. Discovery is the providing of evidence. Schriner was originally accused of allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $80, then arriving in East Palestine on March 2 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set Nov. 4 for Christina Michelle Bechter, 23, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for taking a man's vehicle without consent and being involved in an accident on Aug. 21 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Oct. 20 for Cassandra R. Manley, 38, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly failing to listen to police commands to stop running during an incident in Wellsville on Sept. 14.
A pretrial was set Nov. 18 for Isaiah J. Carl, 18, Youngstown, charged with criminal trespass and open container after having an open container of alcohol during a traffic stop on Aug. 29 in Lisbon and trespassing at a Perry Township residence on Sept. 12.
James L. Huckle Jr., 61, Grant Street, Salem, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct amended from aggravated menacing at the request of the prosecutor after further facts were provided regarding the April 9 incident.
A pretrial was set Nov. 3 for Anthony Phillip Cook, 62, Prospect Street, East Liverpool, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly sleeping on the ground on a property in East Liverpool on Sept. 13.
Wayne Michael Woolley, 34, Penn Avenue Extension, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 15 days in jail, with credit for one day served, leaving 14 days to serve for violating the terms of his probation for a 2025 case for drug paraphernalia.
A pretrial was set Nov. 16 for Erica B. Sprankle, 41, Aliquippa, Pa., charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument, drug paraphernalia and no license for allegedly possessing eight used syringes, three cut straws and two glass pipes and other paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Sept. 13 in East Liverpool.
Skylar T. McGee, 23, Struthers, was fined $1,350 and sentenced to 20 days in jail for two merged operating a vehicle impaired counts and child endangering for having a baby in the vehicle while driving impaired and stopped in Salem on July 17. Her license was suspended for two years.
