LISBON--A West Virginia man has been bound over to the grand jury facing multiple felony charges after allegedly fleeing from officers at high speeds on five separate days.
Dakota Trimnel, 23, Preakness Drive, Chester, West Virginia, was bound over to the grand jury charged with two counts of third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, two counts of third-degree felony failure to comply, one count of fourth-degree felony failure to comply, and misdemeanor charges of no driver's license, reckless operation, driving under suspension, failure to signal, and a marked lanes violation. Trimnel is alleged to have fled from officers for multiple miles at dangerous speeds before pursuit was terminated when they attempted to conduct traffic stops on his vehicle on May 12, 18, 23, and 28, and June 12. During these pursuits, Trimnel is alleged to have ignored numerous commands to stop and have fled from officers at speeds of more than 100 mph, reaching top speeds exceeding 140 mph.
Shawn Watson, 26, Dogwood Circle, New Waterford, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 135 days suspended, and credit for 37 days served, fined $1,100 and ordered to have no contact with the victims for aggravated menacing, endangering children, failure to stop after an accident and reasonable control for threatening a woman with a firearm after a verbal and physical altercation in New Waterford on March 13.
William Hively Jr., 55, East Third Street, Salem, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined $250, and ordered to have no contact with the victim for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for allegedly threatening to assault a woman in Salem on March 24.
Jason Mullins, 42, North Union Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 17 days in jail with credit for 17 days served and fined $100 for violating a protection order for sending the protected person a message through Cashapp and Venmo requesting to pay them to drop other charges against him on June 10.
Vincent Circelli, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 17 days served and fined $700 for theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, improper/expired registration, and assured clear distance ahead. The charge of unauthorized use stems from an incident in East Liverpool on June 10 when Cricelli drove a vehicle belonging to his former employee without permission. The charge of theft stems from an incident in Wellsville on Feb. 26, when Circelli took a Milwaukee stapler and battery from his employer’s tool bag and pawned them.
Chelsea Baker, 36, Laura Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $350 for three counts of violation of a protection order, making false alarms, and animals running at large for falsely reporting a burglary in progress at an East Liverpool residence on March 6, verbally speaking to the protected parties at their residence on April 21, 25, in East Liverpool, and sending multiple messages to a protected person on Facebook on June 17.
Michael Catalano, 33, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 174 days suspended, fined $1,400 and ordered to pay $10,000 restitution to the victim for OVI, reasonable control and criminal damage. The charge of criminal damaging stems from an incident on Feb. 21 when he was located unconscious in the front seat of another person's vehicle, which was rendered inoperable by damage caused by Catalano.
Ryan Ostrander, 37, Shadylane Drive, East Liverpool, was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for one day served and fined $150 for disorderly conduct for refusing to comply with orders to quiet down while outside and intoxicated in East Liverpool on July 15.
Angel Santay, 19, North Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served, and fined $500 for underage consumption, operating a vehicle without a license, and failure to report an accident amended from failure to stop after an accident for drinking alcohol while under the legal age in Salem on May 17. A charge of assured clear distance ahead was dismissed.
Tabatha Patterson, 42, Green Meadow Trailer Court, New Gaililee, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served and fined $1,140 for disorderly conduct and OVI for allegedly urinating in the parking lot of an East Palestine business on July 10.
Kiersten Trussel, 28, Allan Page Drive, Canton, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served and fined $450 for theft, and driving under suspension for taking $627.70 worth of items from a Salem business without paying on March 27. A charge of criminal trespass was dismissed.
Diane Clarke, 66, Main Street, Columbiana, was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended and fined $1,065 for OVI.
John Applegate, 69, Thomas Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served and fined $1,065 for OVI.
Aaron Penny, 34, Stookeseberry Road, Lisbon, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended, and fined $1,050 for OVI, and a turn signal violation.
A preliminary hearing was set July 20 for Gage Gillespie, 18, Vine Street, East Liverpool, charged with fifth-degree felony receiving stolen property for allegedly possessing a bike which had been obtained by theft on July 13 in East Liverpool.
A preliminary hearing and pretrial were set July 22 for Dreyvan Walton, 29, Erie Alley, Wellsville, charged with third-degree felony failure to comply, and a misdemeanor charge of expired operator’s license for allegedly fleeing from officers at speeds reaching 125 mph for approximately 19.6 miles and passing multiple vehicles during the pursuit when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop in East Liverpool on July 14.
A disposition hearing was set Sept. 21 for Ali Ammon, 28, East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly taking $42.50 worth of items from a Saint Clair Township business without paying on May 3.
A pretrial was set Sept. 1 for Beau McGuire, 48, Beavers Road, Hanoverton, charged with third-degree felony strangulation, and misdemeanor assault for allegedly choking another man in Hanover Township on March 22.
A pretrial was set Aug. 25 for Brandon Miller, 35, Bell Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing a woman by the neck and punching her in the face repeatedly in Rogers on July 3.
A pretrial was set Sept. 2 for Matthew Crowl, 47, East Third Street, Salem, charged with criminal trespass and complicity to commit theft. The charge of complicity stems from an incident on June 26 when Crowl allegedly was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a theft from a Salem business. The charge of criminal trespass stems from an incident when he allegedly entered a West State Street property he had previously been trespassed from on April 21 in Salem.
A pretrial was set Sept. 15 for Paul Beaver, 36, Wooster Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly taking a pair of sandals from an East Liverpool business without paying on June 19.
A disposition hearing was set Sept. 8 for Donald Clark, 57, Cherry Valley Drive, Leetonia, charged with OVI and a turn signal violation.
