Grand Jury

LISBON — A Lisbon woman was served recently with a secret indictment for multiple drug charges, including first-degree felonies for allegedly trafficking and possessing a large amount of cocaine.

Patricia Myers, 56, Maple Street, was charged with first-degree felonies of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, two counts of fourth-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs, two counts of fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, one count of fifth-degree felony trafficking in drugs and misdemeanor possession of drugs, along with specifications for forfeiture of money from a drug case.

According to the indictment, the charges all date back to Nov. 2, 2025 when Myers allegedly trafficked and possessed more than 27 grams but less than 100 grams of cocaine, and trafficked and possessed methamphetamine, amphetamine and alprazolam and also possessed $1,951.

She was served in Jefferson County, with the indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury in June.

Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Brian Francis Buckley, 33, North Market Street, East Palestine, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony menacing by stalking and misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly approaching another man and threatening to beat him on multiple occasions, including on March 19 and April 22 at the Circle K in East Palestine when he made threats and at one point ran and cut the victim and his children off while they were walking.

Cases against Heather Renee Roberts, 37, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal damaging for allegedly trespassing in a home on June 7 in East Liverpool after previously being evicted. A door frame and window in the home were damaged.

A preliminary hearing was set July 15 for Jessica L. Beule, 36, Youngstown, charged with fourth-degree felony grand theft auto for allegedly stealing a truck in the 600 block of East Pershing Street in Salem on July 3 when the owner parked, went into an establishment for 5 minutes, then came back outside and found his Ford Maverick truck gone. Video showed a black Honda pull into the parking lot and park next to the victim’s truck, then a woman got out of the vehicle, entered the truck and left in it. Carroll County found the stolen vehicle being driven by the registered owner of the Honda.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set July 15 for Albert M. Fullerton, 63, Mick Road, Wellsville, charged with fifth-degree felony violate temporary protection order and misdemeanors of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle impaired, OVI breath, marked lanes and no valid license for allegedly attempting to get inside a protected person’s residence in Yellow Creek Township and then being found in a camper on the property on July 3. Prior to this incident, also on July 3, he was charged with the OVI and other traffic charges during a traffic stop and it was discovered he was driving the vehicle without permission.

A pretrial was set July 13 for Zachary W. Carr, 18, Aetna Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing for allegedly punching a woman in the face and pulling a man’s hair and punching him in the face during an incident July 5 in Salem, and then also making threats against the victims when police officers were on the scene.

A pretrial was set July 13 for Lindsay Kay Buzzard, 38, Fisher Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence and falsification for allegedly physically harming a man on July 1 in East Liverpool by scratching him in the neck. On April 19 in St. Clair Township, police were called for a woman slumped over inside Tim Hortons and when they asked her to identify herself, she wasn’t giving her name and then gave a false name and birthdate.

A pretrial was set July 15 for Lucas Harrison Davis, 43, Fisher Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pushing the victim down, pinning him down and striking him in the chest area on July 3 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set July 15 for Brandon J. Miller, 35, Bell Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing a woman by the neck in a vehicle and holding her while punching her in the face on a road on July 3 in Elkrun Township.

A pretrial was set July 15 for John Sheridan Joy, 43, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly yelling threats to kill a woman and punch her on July 3 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Sept. 15 for Elizabeth Lynn Coulter, 45, Erie Street, East Liverpool, charged with assault, criminal trespass and drug paraphernalia for allegedly striking another woman in the face while sitting in the woman’s vehicle on July 2 in East Liverpool, and then being found inside an abandoned residence that was condemned with no trespassing signs. She also possessed a burnt glass pipe inside her shirt.

A pretrial was set July 13 for Michael L. Baxter, 44, West Fifth Street, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly striking a juvenile in the face multiple times on July 3 in Salem.

Tiffany Sobien, 27, Boyce Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and given a suspended 180-day jail term, but ordered to serve 90 days electronically monitored house arrest for assault amended from domestic violence. She was ordered to serve 20 hours community service. Sobien struck a child, causing injury, and then told the child to lie about it on May 7 in East Liverpool. She was also fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Pete L. Gibson, 41, state Route 154, Rogers, was fined $250 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 88 days suspended and credit for two days served, for aggravated menacing. He was ordered to have no contact with the victim. Gibson threatened to shoot a man in the head during an incident May 17 in Unity Township.

Cassandra M. Salokangas, 36, West Seventh Street, Salem, was fined $750 and sentenced to a suspended 90-day jail term for three counts of disorderly conduct amended from telecommunications harassment, with 20 hours community service ordered. Three counts of menacing were dismissed. She was ordered to have no contact with the victims. Three different women reported on Nov. 18, 2025 being harassed and menaced by the defendant, saying the harassment and menacing started in September 2025 during the Little Salem Quakers football and cheerleading season. According to the police affidavit, all three women were part of the coaching staff and after an incident caused the defendant’s relative to miss a game, Salokangas starting posting their personal information and their juveniles’ information on social media and also posted negative false reviews for one woman’s business page. They also reported being approached by the defendant at the school drop off/pick up line.

Ariel L. Durham, 37, Duck Creek Road, Salem, was fined $200 and sentenced to 13 days in jail, with 13 days suspended, leaving no time to serve for public indecency expose private parts and disorderly conduct for banging on the door of a residence on Benton Road in Perry Township and breaking out one of the windows of the door, then walking down Benton Road topless with her breast exposed on June 14.

A charge of violation of a protection order against Cory Pancake, 35, Howell Avenue, East Palestine, was dismissed. Per the prosecutor, the alleged contact occurred after a protection order was dismissed. He was accused of calling the person on Feb. 12 in Unity Township.

A pretrial was set Sept. 9 for Gary W. Michael, 30, Moore Street, Lisbon, charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly messaging a protected person on June 21 in Lisbon.

A pretrial was set July 14 for Candice L. Desanzo, 46, North Market Street, East Palestine, charged with endangering children after a 5-year-old non-verbal, autistic child entered another residence after wandering around an East Palestine neighborhood, with Desanzo allegedly unaware the child was gone until contacted by police dispatch on June 14.

Jeremy L. Goodrich, 49, Port Allegany, Pa., was fined $750 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served, for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, with 20 hours community service and an order to complete an education course. Goodrich responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $140, then drove to East Palestine on Sept. 8, 2023 for the meeting, with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

A pretrial was set Sept. 14 for Erica B. Sprankle, 41, East Fourth Street, East Liverpool, charged with attempted, possessing criminal tools, two counts of possession of a drug abuse instruments, and three counts of drug paraphernalia. On May 18 in St. Clair Township, she allegedly attempted to switch merchandise tickets in Walmart and possessed the tickets, used hypodermic syringes, glass smoking pipe and narcotics. During a traffic stop on May 28 in East Liverpool, she allegedly possessed a burnt glass pipe, scale and tray. During a traffic stop on April 2 in East Liverpool, she allegedly possessed suspected narcotics, a burnt glass pipe and metal made shift pipe with residue.
