LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Steve E. Johnson, 40, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, were bound over to the county grand jury for second-degree felony burglary and misdemeanors of criminal damaging and menacing for allegedly walking into another man’s residence in Salem on Jan. 3, screaming at him and threatening to beat him up. The other man was able to get him out of the house onto the front patio. The police affidavit said video footage allegedly showed the defendant being belligerent and knocking on the window of the residence. He was seen pacing next to a vehicle that video showed had a smashed windshield.
A pretrial was set April 15 for Allen S. Vancooney, 30, Franklin Avenue, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly punching another inmate in the face at the Columbiana County jail on Feb. 11.
A pretrial was set Feb. 23 for Hally Danae Fitch, 20, Grandview Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence and criminal damaging for allegedly dragging a man off of the bed, with the altercation moving upstairs and outside to the back yard where she was allegedly struck in the face and she followed him through the yard and struck him in the mouth and they proceeded to strike each other on Feb. 11 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Feb. 23 for Michael Lee Delturco, 21, Grandview Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking a woman in the face during a disturbance on Feb. 11 in East Liverpool and then both were striking each other after she allegedly followed him through the yard and struck him in the mouth.
A sentencing hearing was set Feb. 23 for Ryan Eugene Williams, 44, Allison Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded guilty to menacing. He was accused of telling another man to let him stay at his house in East Liverpool on Feb. 12 or he would kill him and burn his house down.
A pretrial was set April 21 for Tyler Alan Gregory, 29, Cortland, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $100, then arriving in East Palestine for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. In the affidavit, Gregory allegedly advised he knew how to stay out of trouble by doing this, advising the woman he would tell her he was paying $100 for a condom, but the sex acts were free.
A pretrial was set April 20 for Ray N. Carnes, 66, Memorial Road NE, Kensington, charged with theft for allegedly picking up a dropped wallet at Thomas Market in Hanoverton from the floor in front of the cash register and walking out of the store with it. The wallet had been dropped by another customer on Dec. 26, 2024.
Kyrin A. McLaughlin, 27, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $100 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served, for possess instruments to ingest. On Feb. 11, McLaughlin possessed two cut straws with burnt ends and residue in Lisbon. A probation violation hearing was set Feb. 23 for McLaughlin for a 2024 case involving charges of domestic violence and possess instruments to ingest.
A pretrial was set April 20 for Daniel L. Johnson, 49, Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with operating vehicle impaired refusal with prior within 20 years and reasonable control.
Jimmie Lyn Elliott, 74, East Springfield, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
A charge of driving under suspension against Michael David Bruce, 30, South Broadway Avenue, Salem, was dismissed.

LISBON — Alyssa K. Coleman, 25, Campground Road, Wellsville, was ordered to serve 140 days in the Columbiana County jail for violating the terms of her probation for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony.
Coleman appeared recently in county Common Pleas Court for the probation violation hearing. She received credit for 52 days already served in jail, leaving a balance of 88 days still to serve in jail from the original 140. Her community control was dishonorably terminated. Coleman possessed cocaine on Dec. 10, 2020.
