LISBON–A Lisbon woman was fined $300 for forcefully removing two children from their home without permission and striking another person on June 1.
Rebecca Meredith, 37, Sunrise Drive, Lisbon, was fined $300 for two counts of disorderly conduct, amended from one count of assault and one count of interference with custody, for going to another person’s residence in East Palestine to take their two children from the residence without consent, enter the residence without consent or announcing themself and remove one child from the other person’s arms and strike them in the face causing a laceration to their lip before walking into the living room and while attempting to pick up the second child pushed the other person before leaving the residence with both children on June 1.
Donald Smith, 66, Speidel Road, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury charged with third-degree felony OVI, and misdemeanor driving under suspension, and a charge of open container was dismissed.
Cody Graham, 26, Second Avenue, New Cumberland, West Virginia, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 174 days suspended and credit for six days served 20 hours of community service, and fined $250 for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charge of possessing drug paraphernalia is for having a glass tube and two plastic tubes used to ingest narcotics on his person while being taken into custody for an outstanding warrant in East Liverpool on October 26. The charge of theft stems from an incident when Graham made two ATM transactions totaling $64 in value using a debit card which did not belong to him at a business in East Liverpool on September 12.
Aziz Nasrullaev, 31, Landing Lane, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, was fined $500 for possessing criminal tools for arranging to meet with an undercover officer from the Columbiana County Human Trafficking Task Force in East Palestine for sexual acts in exchange for $140 on Nov. 15, and possessing the cellular device which was used to arrange the criminal act at that time. A charge of engaging in prostitution was dismissed.
Heather Reed, 41, Fifth Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia, was fined $280 for possessing drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and a headlight violation for having a burnt glass pipe in her jacket during a traffic stop in East Liverpool on Jan. 27.
Rick Fisher, 35, Allison Road, Chester, West Virginia was fined $150 for possessing drug paraphernalia for having “a burnt glass pipe with chore boy” under his seat during a traffic stop in East Liverpool on Jan. 27.
Nicola Smith, 42, Shadylane Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for possessing drug paraphernalia for having “a burnt glass pipe with chore boy” under her seat during a traffic stop in East Liverpool on Jan. 27.
Diane Goodwin, 56, Northside Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, fined $250, and ordered to complete a theft awareness course and have no contact with the business for theft for failing to scan and pay for 10 items totaling $46.60 in value at the Wal-Mart in Calcutta on March 3.
Miles Reynolds, 37, Bank Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended, 30 hours of community service, and fined $250 for driving under suspension.
Bryon Potter, 40, East Perry Street, Salem, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Brandon Adams, 31, Goose Hollow Road, Morgantown, West Virginia, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Michael Little, 40, Failor Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for stopped school bus.
Rhonda Newlun, 60, state Route 170, East Liverpool, was fined $50 for speeding.

A pretrial and primary hearing was set Feb. 25 for Mark Chamberlain, 56, State Route 517, Columbiana, for operating an all-purpose vehicle without proper lights, and fourth degree felony failure to comply with the orders or signal of a police officer for allegedly accelerating rapidly and fleeing from an officer when they attempted to conduct a traffic stop in Columbiana on Jan. 25.
A pretrial was set April 14 for Ethel Brandle, no age available, Shadyside Road, East Liverpool, charged with six counts of failure to file city income tax returns, for allegedly failing to file city income tax returns for tax years 2019-2024 in East Liverpool, Ohio.
A pretrial was set April 15 for Adam Faulkner, state Route 14, East Palestine, charged with OVI, driving under suspension, and reasonable control.
A pretrial was set April 13 for Tiffany Sobien, 26, Clover Alley, Wellsville, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set April 14 for William McFarland Jr., 34, Cliff Drive, Salem, charged with driving under suspension and a tail light violation.

LISBON — A Lisbon man accused of trafficking in drugs was sentenced to 24 months in prison during his recent sentencing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
David M. Adams, 46, Glenn Road, East Liverpool, appeared on two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a third-degree felony. Besides the prison term, he was also fined $5,00 for each count.
Adams was accused of trafficking methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than bulk but less than five times bulk on Sept. 7, 2023 and Sept. 14, 2023.
Also in Common Pleas Court:
— Olivia Redman, 20, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was placed under community control for two years and ordered to serve up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in Lisbon for charges from two separate indictments, including fifth-degree felony assault and misdemeanor assault from one case and third-degree felony burglary from another case. She received credit for two days served. Redman was accused of assaulting another inmate at the Columbiana County jail while she was an inmate, punching the woman on May 2, 2025, then striking a corrections officer who intervened, hitting her in the face and kicking her. The burglary charge involved Redman trespassing in an occupied structure in East Liverpool on Nov. 22, 2024 with the purpose to commit theft.
— Jakob Hendricks, 36, Cherry Street, Washingtonville, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for fifth-degree felony theft and fourth-degree felony telecommunications fraud, with credit for two days served. He was accused of stealing $6,045 from Natural Solutions on Oct. 31, 2023.
— Jaycent Staats, 42, Massillon, pleaded guilty to third-degree felony illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, and fifth-degree felonies of possession of cocaine and aggravated possession of drugs, with sentencing set for April 2. Staats was accused of possessing cocaine and methamphetamine and trying to take drugs into a detention facility on Feb. 4, 2024.
