Grand Jury
LISBON — Lorena Cope, 59, state Route 558, Leetonia, was served Tuesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing cocaine on April 23, 2024.

LISBON — A man arrested in a sex for hire sting entered a guilty to plea to felony drug charges and misdemeanors related to prostitution and criminal tools.
Larry Robert Maglicco, 47, Elizabeth, Pa., will appear in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court for sentencing on Aug. 8. The charges in the plea included third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools.
Charges of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and drug paraphernalia will be dismissed.
Maglicco was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for methamphetamine, arriving in East Palestine on April 29, 2024 for the meeting. He had in his possession methamphetamine, two meth pipes and a cell phone used to make the arrangements, along with a loaded gun he failed to disclose to officers. He also possessed psilocybin.

–Bryan Tremayne Gipson, 41, Youngstown, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony possession of drugs and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, with sentencing set for Aug. 8. On Jan. 10, 2024 in East Palestine, Gipson showed up for an arranged meeting for alleged sexual activity with a female in exchange for cocaine after responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website. He had cocaine in his possession.
— Luke Worden, 44, Weirton, W.Va., pleaded guilty to misdemeanor aggravated trespass, which was amended from first-degree felony burglary, and pleaded guilty to third-degree felony domestic violence, with sentencing set for Aug. 14. He was accused of trespassing and attempting to harm another person on July 24, 2022, with three previous convictions on his record for domestic violence offenses.
— Brian Baughman, 50, Brightview Drive, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, with sentencing set for Aug. 15, for possessing methamphetamine on April 17, 2024.
