LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Diego D. Galicia, 29, Johnson City, Tenn., were bound over to the county grand jury for third-degree felony tampering with evidence and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and failure to disclose one’s personal information. Galicia allegedly responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $200 to be paid via Cash App, then arrived in East Palestine on Jan. 19 for the meeting. Galicia allegedly refused to exit his vehicle and had to be forcefully removed and continued to resist. While being taken into custody, he allegedly smashed his phone and destroyed it. He had allegedly refused to provide officers his name or identifying information when requested.
Nathaniel Hodgson, 41, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 167 days suspended and credit for 13 days served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 25 hours of community service. Hodgson was accused of slapping a woman, poking her in the eye and throwing her on the bed while having her in a headlock on Dec. 3, 2024 in Perry Township.
Jason Ours, 24, Bluff Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for violation of a protection order. He was ordered to complete 25 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. He was accused of being at a residence in East Liverpool on Jan. 2 in violation of the terms of a protection order issued in May.
Karen Scyoc, 50, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $250 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for possessing criminal tools amended from theft. She was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. Scyoc failed to scan and pay for 15 items totaling $67 at the Calcutta Walmart on Dec. 29, 2024.
Azsha Sue Marie Everson, 19, Anderson Boulevard, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for criminal trespass. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and ordered to have no contact with an East Liverpool address on Avondale Avenue. Everson trespassed in a condemned residence on Avondale Avenue, East Liverpool on Jan. 27.
A pretrial was set June 3 for Alexander Doyle Gromley, 33, Harding Avenue, Salem, charged with a noise violation for allegedly violating the noise ordinance in Salem via musical instrument within restricted hours of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on March 19.
A pretrial was set May 29 for Al Jonae Monae Phillips, 26, Lowellville, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a glass smoking pipe with white burnt residue during a traffic stop on March 29 in Madison Township.
A pretrial was set May 29 for Shawn Blough, 47, state Route 9, Salem, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense, failing to stop after an accident and open container.
A pretrial was set June 17 for John Bailey, 55, Beaver Falls, Pa., charged with OVI first offense and OVI breath first offense.
A pretrial was set May 27 for Rockie Smith Jr., 37, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.
Sandra Diamond, 62, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $925 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for traffic control devices and physical control amended from OVI. Another OVI charge was dismissed. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted.
A speeding charge against Ryan Golan, 58, Brunswick, was dismissed, with costs taxed to the defendant.
Tomas Alonzo, 18, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.
Thomas Redman III, 42, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Krista Ellis, 32, Youngstown, was fined $100 for speeding.

LISBON — A Lisbon man accused of multiple felony counts related to his possession of nude images of children pleaded guilty recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
Matthew Spack, 38, state Route 172, entered the guilty pleas to all the charges in the indictment, which included two second-degree felony counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, five counts of fourth-degree felony pandering obscenity involving a minor or impair person and seven counts of fifth-degree felony illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Judge Megan Bickerton scheduled sentencing for June 6.
According to a police affidavit filed in county Municipal Court, Spack was accused of creating, reproducing or publishing videos depicting children engaging in sexual activity. When officers executed a search warrant at his house, images depicting minor females in a state of nudity were found on his cell phone. The date listed on the indictment for the offenses was Nov.13, 2024.

— A trial date of June 9 was set in the case against Robert W. Rogers, 74, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, who’s charged with 17 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing images of alleged child pornography on June 18, 2024. A further status hearing was set for 8:45 a.m. May 16.
— Tiffany Marie Woolley, 38, East Liverpool Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony violation of a protection order, with sentencing set for April 18. She was accused of violating the terms of a protection order on Aug. 5, 2024 in East Liverpool by staying at a counseling center where she made contact with the protected person.
— Alexander Ashley, 20, Tallmadge, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present, with sentencing set for June 6. He was accused of trespassing in a Wellsville home on July 28, 2024.
— Kimberly Jackson, 39, Old state Route 558, Salem, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set for June 3. Jackson possessed methamphetamine on July 29, 2023.
— Josiah Laughlin, 25, state Route 7, Rogers, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and was placed under community control for two years. He possessed methamphetamine on Sept. 4, 2022. The community control was ordered to be concurrent with the community control from a case in Mahoning County and a Columbiana County case. Laughlin was placed under community control for two years for a case of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony, related to trafficking methamphetamine on Jan. 12, 2024.
— Devin Lodge, 23, Old state Route 558, Salem, was sentenced to nine months in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on June 24, 2023. A charge of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia will be dismissed. The prison term was ordered served at the same time as any sentence Lodge is serving out of Stark County.
— Thomas Price, 54, Lisa Lane, Lisbon, was ordered to serve 400 days in the county jail, with credit for 340 days already served, leaving a balance of 60 days still to serve in jail for violating his probation for failure to provide notice of change of address, a second-degree felony, and misdemeanor falsification. His probation was dishonorably terminated due to the violations. On Feb. 25, 2021, he failed to notify the sheriff’s office of a change of address for his sex offender registration. On Jan. 21, 2021, he made a false statement.
— Richard Monigold, 23, state Route 644, Salineville, was sentenced to 183 days in the county jail, with credit for 163 days already served, leaving a balance of 20 days still to serve in jail for violating the terms of his probation for failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. His probation was dishonorably terminated as a result of the violations. On May 8, 2020, Monigold fled from police.
