LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set March 13 for David L. Saunders, 47, Canton, charged with possessing criminal tools, soliciting and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly posting an ad on a known website for the solicitation of prostitution and soliciting to receive sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a purchaser of sex for $250, then driving to Salem for the meeting with the agent on March 6 with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. During a search of his person, a glass pipe with residue was located in his jacket pocket.

A pretrial was set May 27 for Melanie Glosser, 51, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 15 items totaling $168 at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb. 28.

A pretrial was set April 3 for Mariah Beaver, 34, Lang Street, East Liverpool, charged with no driver’s license and drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a burnt glass pipe used to smoke narcotics during a traffic stop on Feb. 26 in East Liverpool.

A case against James R. Lemmon, 41, Mingo Junction, was dismissed since the case had already been presented directly to the county grand jury, with an indictment issued this week for fourth-degree felony attempt to commit an offense, fifth-degree felony trafficking in marijuana, and misdemeanors of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Lemmon was accused of allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual acts with a female in exchange for drugs, traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 25, 2024 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. He also allegedly possessed 14 individually packaged baggies of marijuana at the scene and on Nov. 27, 2024 he allegedly contacted a woman to factory reset his cell phone and walked her through the steps to do it, which was considered an attempt to tamper with evidence.

A pretrial was set May 27 for Bridgette Bader, 50, Allegheny Trail, Negley, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a rubber container with a crystal-like substance during a traffic stop on Oct. 8, 2024 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set April 29 for Stephany Dehaven, 34, Bank Street, East Liverpool, charged with six counts of failure to file city income tax return for allegedly East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2019 through 2024.

A pretrial was set May 5 for Laughlin Cole, 28, Depot Road, Lisbon, charged with dogs: failure to register and dogs:failure to confine for allegedly letting a dog run loose on Feb. 18 in the area of state Route 172, Lisbon, and failing to purchase a dog license until after the dog was in the dog pound.

A pretrial was set March 17 for Madelyn Hairston, 38, North Street, Beloit, charged with driving while texting.

A pretrial was set May 27 for Dylan Conway, 23, North Howard Avenue, Salem, charged with forfeiture and improper/expired registration.

A pretrial was set April 28 for Stephanie Herstine, 29, Silliman Street, New Waterford, charged with driving under suspension and marked lanes.

A pretrial was set May 27 for Jeffrey James, 45, Seventh Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with physical control.

Angela Craft, 50, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and lights required.
