Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Dakota Densmore, 20, Orchard Hill Drive, Leetonia, was fined $150 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 163 days suspended and credit for 17 days served, for violation of a protection order. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Densmore violated a protection order by being on a New Waterford property on Feb. 14.

Terry Tejeh, 34, Sharon, Pa., was fined $250 for disorderly conduct amended from complicity to commit engaging in prostitution for aiding and abetting another person in committing the offense of engaging in prostitution on May 17, 2024 in East Palestine.

Christian Matthew Bell, 29, Northside Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $600 and sentenced to 45 days in jail, with credit for 29 days served, leaving a balance of 16 days to serve in jail for three counts of theft, assault, and criminal damaging. He was fined an additional 45 days in jail and fined $300 for theft and criminal trespass for trespassing in the Dollar General in East Liverpool on Feb. 10 and stealing a pack of boxers and two packs of socks. The other charges all stemmed from incidents in 2024. On Aug. 27, 2024, he stole razors, deodorant and soap valued at $12 from Dollar Tree in East Liverpool. On July 23, 2024, he stole a woman’s phone and tablet in East Liverpool. On July 29, 2024, he stole a man’s tablet and phone in East Liverpool. On Aug. 22, 2024, he threw a rock at another man, striking him in the elbow and causing him to fall to the ground in East Liverpool. On March 27, 2024, he was accused of throwing a brick at a vehicle and using a collapsible wand to strike a vehicle window.

A pretrial was set June 2 for Bryan Malone, 36, Grimms Bridge Road, East Liverpool, charged with telecommunications harassment and drug paraphernalia for allegedly calling a woman 35 times in 12 minutes on her cell phone in Columbiana County on Feb. 27. On March 3, he allegedly possessed a plastic container with pills and residue on his person after he was found slumped over in a vehicle in St. Clair Township. An affidavit said when he was asked out of the vehicle, a handgun fell from his waistband, with a notation that the offense involving the handgun will be prosecuted federally.

Nathaniel Turner, 23, Walnut Street, Rogers, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for punching another man in the nose on Aug. 9, 2023 in Rogers.

Melissa Barnhart, 46, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct amended from obstructing official business. She was accused of not making herself known to police executing a narcotics search warrant one Dec. 19, 2024 in St. Clair Township. She was allegedly on the phone with a relative and did not follow police commands while they were clearing the property.

Charles Bosel Jr., 35, state Route 154, Lisbon, was fined $900 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with credit for 160 days suspended, leaving a balance of 20 days still to serve in jail for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle impaired, unauthorized plate, marked lanes and expired registration. His driver’s license was suspended for two years and he was ordered to complete 30 hours community service. Bosel possessed narcotics paraphernalia, a cut straw, during a traffic stop on Sept. 2, 2024 in Lisbon.

Jennifer Lancaster, 34, Steubenville, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct amended from complicity to soliciting. She was originally bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony promote prostitution – transport across state lines for sex for hire for allegedly transporting another woman to Salem on Aug. 14, 2024, knowing the other woman was going to engage in sexual activity for hire by admission of the other woman in a texting conversation. The felony charge was dismissed in Common Pleas Court and the new charge of complicity was filed through county Municipal Court.

Zachary Conner, 21, Portsmouth, Va., was fined $250 and sentenced to 47 days in jail, with 45 days suspended and credit for two days served, for theft. He was also ordered to make restitution of $100 and to stay away from the victim. Conner was accused of stealing eight $100 gift cards belonging to a woman, along with her bank card, on Oct. 23, 2024. He tossed them from his vehicle when seen by officers and the property was located and returned, an affidavit said.

Edward Pittman, 42, Granite Street, Salem, was sentenced to 60 days in jail for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and violating his probation for cases for five counts of theft and single counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and drug paraphernalia from 2024, with the theft cases stemming from stealing multiple items from a woman in Salem. He also possessed a clear glass pipe with white residue during a traffic stop on Feb. 23 in Columbiana. Court costs were waived. Charges of reasonable control and driving under suspension from 2025 were dismissed.

Nicholas Desimone, 18, Alpha Street, East Liverpool, was fined $350 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 83 days suspended and credit for seven days served for falsification and drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. He was accused of giving a false name to police investigating shoplifters at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb. 17. During a traffic stop on Sept. 13, 2024 in St. Clair Township, he possessed a pink straw with powder residue.

Zaiah Blackwell, 25, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $1,125 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 167 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, leaving a balance of 10 days to serve electronically monitored house arrest for OVI and endangering children. His driver’s license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 30 hours community service. He was accused of driving impaired with a child in the vehicle in Columbiana on Sept. 1, 2024.

Anna Swickard, 34, and Andrew Swickard, 35, both Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, were both fined $500 on each of the five counts of failure to file a city income tax return, with all of the fines suspended for both of them, with the understanding that they make all payments according to a payment plan and file any returns as they become due. They both failed to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2020 through 2024.

Joseph Rexroad Sr., 36, Dewey Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $500 each for six counts of failure to file city income tax return, with all but $50 of the fine suspended on the condition that he file and pay all taxes when due. Rexroad failed to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2019 through 2024. He was fined $250 for driving under suspension and unauthorized plate.

Miah Kathleen Coviello, 31, Minto Junction, was fined $775 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 86 days suspended and credit for four days served, for OVI, driving under suspension and a tail lights violation. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set May 20 for Michael Stockman, 55, Woodland Avenue, Columbiana, charged with marked lanes.

Sabrina Cline, 22, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $430 for no seat belt, two counts of speeding and two counts of driving under suspension.

Adrienna Jackson, 33, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $200 for driving under suspension, no seat belt and failure to control.

Ruthann Rose, 41, Seigler Road, Salineville, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and failure to display valid sticker.

Dominique Smith, 26, Warren, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Jonathan Gardner, 33, Duke Vodrey Road, East Liverpool, was fined $200 and sentenced to four days in jail, with credit for four days served, for driving under suspension.

Jennifer Stratton, 33, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for an equipment violation amended from driving while texting.

Steven Stokes Jr., 23, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

Nathaniel Crawford, 26, Enon Valley, Pa., was fined $50 for speeding.

Robert Bidwell, 41, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and speeding.
