LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set March 6 for Fred Struble III, 48, Chain School Road, East Palestine, charged with aggravated menacing and two counts domestic violence for allegedly grabbing a woman and trying to stop her from leaving an East Palestine, Unity Township residence on Feb. 20 after an argument. He also allegedly took her cell phone and threatened her.
A pretrial was set Feb. 27 for Johnathan Vinkler, 48, Youngstown Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, charged with violation of a protection order for allegedly calling a protected person 18 times from the county jail from Jan. 14 to Feb. 14.
A pretrial was set May 20 for Nicholas Taulbee, 32, McKinley Avenue, Lisbon, charged with endangering children for allegedly creating a substantial risk of harm to an infant in May 2024 who was admitted to Akron Children’s Hospital due to suspected failure to thrive and neglect, with the police affidavit noting weight loss, bruises and scratches on the child.

A pretrial was set May 13 for William Walter Verosky, 44, Monaca, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $140, then traveling to East Palestine on Feb. 20 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
Dana Inherst, 34, West 65th Street, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for engaging in fighting on Feb. 15 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set May 8 for Jeffrey Cornfield, 39, Curry Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 19 items totaling $140 at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb. 14.
