LISBON — John Kolcun, 60, Warrenfield, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony attempted tampering with evidence, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and misdemeanor illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, with sentencing set for April 17. Kolcun was accused of trying to hide a meth pipe after being placed under arrest for another charge on June 14 in Columbiana and also possessed methamphetamine.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Joseph M. Savin, 38, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was bound over to the county grand jury for second-degree felony burglary and fourth-degree felony grand theft. Savin allegedly stole a Kubota from a garage he broke into in Wellsville, with the Kubota reported missing on Jan. 3.
He was pulled over with the Kubota in East Palestine and allegedly admitted to taking it and leaving it on a friend’s property in Toronto. Savin was also fined $700 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served for possession of drug abuse instruments, driving under suspension, unauthorized plate amended from prohibited acts, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. During a traffic stop on Sept. 9, 2024 in Center Township, his vehicle was searched and troopers found a syringe in a toolbox with various powders in plastic baggies. During another traffic stop on Aug. 20, 2024, he possessed a meth pipe.
Eric Mayfield, 25, North Shadylane Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 21 days suspended and credit for nine days served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service. Mayfield was accused of threatening to kill a woman and was yelling and threatening to harm people on Jan. 7 in East Liverpool.
Anthony Bradley, 42, Erie Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 159 days suspended and credit for 14 days served, leaving a balance of seven days still to serve in jail for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service and to stay away from the victim. Bradley punched and kicked a woman in the face when she was crouched in a corner during an argument on Jan. 2 in East Liverpool.
Albert Fullerton, 44, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for violation of a protection order. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Fullerton was caught Jan. 1 at an East Liverpool residence in violation of a protection order.
Alayah Cheylynn Thornton, 25, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $600 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 178 days suspended and credit for two days served, for domestic violence, resisting arrest, theft and drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to stay out of East Liverpool Family Dollar besides making restitution of $6.70. On May 23, 2024, she took five hair product items from Family Dollar in East Liverpool valued at $6.70. On July 3, 2022 in Wellsville, she was accused of grabbing a woman to keep her from leaving a residence where police had been called for a woman tearing it up. She began to walk away and fought with officers when told she was under arrest. On Feb. 24, 2024 in Calcutta, she possessed a silver burnt pipe in her belongings, along with a baggy containing unknown white pills, a folded up paper with unknown white powder and a prescription bottle not in her name containing unknown pills.
Mark Knight, 25, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 18 days suspended and credit for 12 days served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Knight struck a woman and threatened a man on Jan. 3 in New Waterford.
Amanda Brewer, 33, McDonald, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 167 days suspended and credit for 13 days served, for domestic violence. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to stay away from the victim. On Jan. 2 in Butler Township, she slapped a man across the face and scratched his arm.
Devon Lynn, 44, last known address Hubbard, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 22 days suspended and credit for eight days served for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Lynn was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to stay away from the victim. Lynn was accused of punching a man in the face on March 10, 2024 in Unity Township.
A pretrial was set April 1 for Matthew W. Pyle, 47, Portersville, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual conduct for an agreed upon price of $120 from an undercover agent, then driving to Salem on Jan. 16 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
Kaila DiMaggio, 27, Bradshaw Avenue Rear, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to one day in jail, with credit for one day served, for criminal trespass for being inside a condemned property on Oct. 30, 2024 in East Liverpool.
Tarah Desatnik, 40, Middle Street, Homeworth, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended and credit for seven days served, leaving a balance of 23 days still to serve in jail for telecommunications harassment. She was ordered to have no contact with the victim. She was accused of sending threatening text messages to a man on Nov. 1, 2024 in West Township.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Gabriella Williams, 37, Butcher Road, Leetonia, charged with reasonable control.
A pretrial was set April 8 for Sara Marie Baker, 31, Fairmont Street, East Liverpool, charged with reasonable control.
Valerie Golden, 34, High Street, Washingtonville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Willie James Beverly, 24, Austintown, was fined $50 for speeding.
Adam Groves, 35, South County Road, Leetonia, was fined $50 for speeding.
De Meisha Perry, 24, Akron, was fined $200 for stopped school bus.
Rammel Perry-Tisdale, 30, Alton Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and reasonable control.
Douglas Minor, 25, South 15th Street, Sebring, was fined $50 for assured clear distance.
