LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Johnathan Glen Vinkler, 48, Youngstown Pittsburgh Road, Petersburg, were bound over to the county grand jury for third-degree felony violation of a protection order, fourth-degree felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic violence for allegedly pushing, grabbing, punching and choking a woman with both hands while allegedly threatening her life on Dec. 21 in East Palestine

A preliminary hearing was set Feb. 6 for Miguel Rivera, 46, Leipsic, charged with fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine for allegedly possessing cocaine during a traffic stop on Dec. 9, 2024 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Jan. 16 for Corey Snay, 30, Depot Road, Salem, charged with assault and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly punching a woman in the head in Salem on Jan. 2 and possessing a glass pipe commonly used to smoke meth.

A pretrial was set Jan. 16 for Amanda Brewer, 33, Whinnery Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly slapping a man across the face and scratching his arms during a domestic on Jan. 2 in Butler Township.

A pretrial was set Jan. 16 for Anthony Bradley, 42, Erie Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching and kicking a woman in the face as she crouched in a corner of an East Liverpool property on Jan. 2 during an argument.

A pretrial was set March 25 for Joshua John Bailey, 34, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $100, then traveling to East Palestine on Jan. 2 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

Robin Faye Cribb, 70, Washington Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $300 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 89 days suspended and credit for one day served, for theft and possessing criminal tools. She was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. Cribb failed to scan and pay for 21 items totaling $100 and used a $1 sticker to inaccurately scan items on Dec. 23 at the Calcutta Walmart.

A pretrial was set April 1 for Karen Scyoc, 50, New Cumberland, W.Va., charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 15 items totaling $67 at the Calcutta Walmart on Dec. 29.

Michael Procter Jr., 55, Rochester Road, East Rochester, was fined $100 and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 45 days suspended and credit for 15 days served, for criminal mischief. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Proctor was accused of being involved in an incident with a neighbor on Sept. 2, 2024 in East Rochester.

A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 21 for Jacob Blystone, no age listed, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, who pleaded no contest and was found guilty of five counts of failure to file city income tax return for allegedly failing to file East Liverpool city income tax returns from 2019 through 2021 and in 2023 and 2024.

Kyle Wilbert, 33, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for special deer or wild turkey permit violation.

Lewis Walker, 62, Cannons Mill Road, East Liverpool, was fined $30 for disorderly conduct for his behavior on Dec. 27 in St. Clair Township.

Katelyn Conrad, 20, Ravine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for disorderly conduct for making loud noises during an incident Dec. 27 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Christy Dawson, 46, Lee Street, East Liverpool, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years and marked lanes.

A pretrial was set March 6 for Carlos Torres, 33, McKeesport, Pa., charged with reasonable control and child restraint.

A pretrial was set April 1 for Adam Olzak Jr., 27, McCormick Run Road, Salineville, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set March 25 for Robert Ross Jr., 35, state Route 344, Leetonia, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set March 10 for Christopher Jackson, 19, Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Feb. 4 for Christhopher Trautvetter, 37, Midland, Pa., charged with driving under suspension and no turn signal.

A pretrial was set April 3 for Timothy Lisko Jr., 33, Canfield, charged with speeding.

Alexander Hawk, 22, state Route 7, Lisbon, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.

Ryan Pritt, 23, North Shady Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for prohibited operation for an ATV on the road.
