LISBON — An East Liverpool man who violated his probation for a drug charge was ordered to serve 88 days in the Columbiana County jail.

Kirk Price, 56, Eighth Avenue, appeared recently in county Common Pleas Court for a probation revocation hearing, with his community control for attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a misdemeanor, dishonorably terminated.

Price was sentenced to 100 days in the county jail as punishment, with credit for 12 days served, leaving the balance of 88 days to serve.

The indictment was originally for aggravated possession of drugs for possessing methamphetamine on Sept. 21, 2022.

Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 14 for Brian Campbell, 37, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, charged with fifth-degree felony obstructing official business and misdemeanor aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to burn a relative’s house down and then going into the woods screaming, possibly armed with a knife and threatening deputies.

An affidavit by a deputy sheriff said when deputies arrived, he was yelling he was the lord and was threatening deputies and their families, holding a golf club above his head ready to swing. He was given multiple commands to drop the golf club and continued to make threats until a deputy tased him and he dropped the golf club and was taken to the ground.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 14 for Ronald Harper, 36, North Market Street, East Palestine, charged with fourth-degree felony theft and misdemeanors of OVI first offense, reasonable control, traffic control devices and expired license. Harper allegedly stole a woman’s vehicle while she was inside the East Palestine Circle K, struck a tractor trailer that was turning from West Main Street onto North Market Street and walked away on Nov. 7.

Blayke McCloud, 25, Montana Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to stay away from the victim. McCloud struck a woman in the nose and face area during a domestic on Oct. 28 in East Liverpool. A fifth-degree felony charge of strangulation was dismissed.

A pretrial was set Feb. 20 for Albert Mason, 70, Thomas Road, Lisbon, charged with menacing for allegedly threatening to kill a woman, making her believe he would cause her physical harm on Oct. 30 in Lisbon.

A sentencing hearing was set Nov. 18 for Connor Allen, 18, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, who pleaded guilty to domestic violence for allegedly making threats of physical harm to a woman and causing property damage to the home on Nov. 7 in East Liverpool.

A pretrial was set Nov. 18 for Shawn Michael Marx, 55, Warren, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument, possessing criminal tools, engaging in prostitution, obstructing official business and false identifying information for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for money and narcotics, then traveling to East Palestine for the meeting on Nov. 7. A police affidavit said the defendant advised he was bringing hypodermic needles, which he had in his possession, along with suspected fentanyl, approximately 33 grams of methamphetamine when weighed, the cell phone used to make the arrangements and $446, which was seized. Marx gave a different name than his own when he arrived and had a Nevada driver’s license with that name on it.

A pretrial was set Jan. 21 for Macy Goodman, 28, Stewart Road, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly claiming a man involved in an incident was not in the house, then later saying he was in the shower on Oct. 27 in Salem.

Tammy Tice, 45, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $500 for furnishing alcohol to underage person for selling liquor to an underage girl at Shenanigan’s Pub in Lisbon on Sept. 29. The 19-year-old girl was driving and struck a tree, with the receipts from Shenanigan’s in her pocket that same date.

A pretrial was set Jan. 27 for Anastasha Blinn, 41, New Castle, Pa., charged with illegal use of possession of drug paraphernalia and a headlights violation. Blinn allegedly possessed a pill bottle with a suspected narcotic on Nov. 7 during a traffic stop in Columbiana.

A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Wyatt Rockhold, 18, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, charged with operating a vehicle impaired first offense, underage OVI and a brake lights violation.

A pretrial was set Feb. 11 for Randall Myers, 46, Newell, W.Va., charged with OVI first offense and a tail lights violation.

A pretrial was set Jan. 23 for Henry Powell, 35, Akron, charged with driving under suspension.

Two counts of driving under suspension were dismissed against Elizabeth Anchondo, 25, East Main Street, East Palestine, who was fined $30 for a seat belt violation.
