Grand Jury

LISBON — Mandy Marie Hale, 43, Glenn Street, East Liverpool, was served Wednesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine on March 18.

LISBON — A woman indicted in 2021 for a drug charge was ordered to spend 87 days in the county jail for violating the terms of her probation.

Christina Coil, 45, whose last known address was West Main Street, Salineville, appeared Tuesday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court where her community control for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, was dishonorably terminated due to the violations.

She was sentenced to serve 300 days in the county jail for the probation violation, but received credit for 213 days already served, leaving the balance of 87 days. Coil possessed methamphetamine on June 4, 2020.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Fred Bryan, 44, Chester, W.Va., was placed under community control for three years after pleading guilty to possession of fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing fentanyl on March 27, 2023.

— Desionae Taylor, 30, Youngstown, was placed under community control for one year after pleading guilty to misdemeanor attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a lesser included offense. Taylor was originally indicted for aggravated possession of drugs for possessing hydrocodone on Sept. 7, 2018. She received credit for one day served in jail.
