LISBON — A Salem man accused of bringing a weapon and drugs into the Columbiana County jail entered guilty pleas recently in Common Pleas Court to the felony charges against him.

Martel Selig, 39, Cherry Street, pleaded guilty to third-degree felonies of illegal conveyance of weapons onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound.

The incident with the deadly weapon and drugs allegedly occurred on Nov. 4, 2022 and involved methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Sentencing set for Aug. 9.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Rebecca Tami, 41, Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was ordered to serve 140 days in the county jail for violating her community control for arson, a fourth-degree felony. She had been accused of setting fire to a storage shed behind the Leetonia Public Library on Sept. 6, 2022.

— Steven Summers, 49, Vale Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to a lesser offense of attempted aggravated possession of drugs, a fourth-degree felony, reduced from a third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, along with pleading guilty to fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance. Both drug charges included a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case. Summers allegedly possessed methamphetamine and oxycodone, $632, had a stolen gun and possessed a firearm muffler or suppressor on Dec. 27, 2021. Sentencing was set for June 20.

— Holly Keyes, 36, Maple Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine and third-degree felony tampering with evidence for possessing cocaine and tampering with evidence on April 21, 2018. Sentencing was set for July 19.

— Chloe Gerber, 22, Massillon, was ordered to spend up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in Lisbon and placed under community control until Feb. 5, 2026 after her intervention was dishonorably terminated for violations for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. She possessed morphine on July 1, 2022.

— Natosha Miller, 31, Broadview Circle, East Liverpool, was ordered to spend 26 days in the county jail for violating her community control for fifth-degree felony charges for possession of cocaine, possession of fentanyl-related compound and possession of heroin. Miller was charged for possessing cocaine, heroin and fentanyl on Dec. 6, 2019.

— Alex Porter, 39, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, was ordered to spend 15 days in the county jail for violating his community control for fifth-degree felonies of obstructing official business, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound. Porter was accused of giving police a false name while a passenger during a traffic stop March 30, 2022 in Columbiana and took off running after being told to exit the vehicle. He also possessed methamphetamine and fentanyl.
