LISBON — A Salem man recently pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to sexual contact with children.

Jesse McGuire, 37, West Sixth Street, Salem, accused of sexual contact with two children over three and a half years starting in 2019 entered a guilty plea to two counts of felony-four gross sexual imposition. The indictment alleges the incidents occurred from Jan. 1, 2019 to May 24, 2022, with two counts involving sexual contact starting when one child was 10 years old and the other two counts involving sexual contact starting when another child was 12 years old. McGuire will be sentenced on Aug. 8.

Also in common pleas court:

A case against Robert Davis, 38, Maple Street, Lisbon, charged with felony burglary, felony robbery, and misdemeanor theft was dismissed at the state’s costs.
