LISBON — James Merino, 44, Benton Road, Salem, was served Wednesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for possession of heroin and possession of fentanyl-related compound, both fifth-degree felonies, for allegedly possessing heroin and fentanyl on Aug. 2, 2022.

Michael Heverly, 39, Depot Road, Salem, was served Tuesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for third-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs and fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, with specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case, for allegedly preparing for sale and possessing methamphetamine and possessing $92 on Jan. 12.
