LISBON — A man accused of allegedly burning scrap tires was served Wednesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for an incident from 2021.

Christopher Asher, 26, Market Street, Salineville, was charged with open burning or open dumping of solid waste for allegedly recklessly disposing of solid waste by open burning or open dumping and the offense involved scrap tires.

Also served with a secret indictment was Cory Haueter, 37, Franklin Avenue, Salem, charged with aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs, all fifth-degree felonies, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine, cocaine and buprenorphine on Sept. 1, 2023.
