LISBON — A Canton woman accused of multiple drug charges, including trafficking, was sentenced recently to an indefinite term of three to four and a half years in prison.
Danielle Billman, 49, appeared for sentencing in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court for aggravated trafficking in drugs, a second-degree felony, and fifth-degree felonies of possession of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs. A second-degree felony charge of aggravated possession of drugs was dismissed. She received credit for 27 days served in jail.
The indefinite term means that she must serve three years, but the Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation can decide to add more time, bringing the total to four and a half years.
Billman was accused of preparing for sale methamphetamine equal or greater than five times the bulk amount but less than 50 times the bulk amount, and also possessing cocaine and flualprazolam, all on Sept. 6, 2021.
Also in Common Pleas Court:
— Dustin Hockenbury, 40, Youngstown, previously Phenix City, Ala., was sentenced to nine months in prison for fifth-degree felony importuning, and fourth-degree felonies of a lesser included offense of attempted compelling prostitution (originally compelling prostitution) and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He received credit for 78 days served in jail. A charge of possessing criminal tools was dismissed. Hockenbury was accused of requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old female in exchange for $300, then drove to Salem for the meeting on July 20, 2023.
