LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Orlando Walker, 32, River Side Avenue, Wellsville, was bound over to the county grand jury for one count of third-degree felony having weapons under disability- drug-related conviction, for allegedly being found with a handgun during a traffic stop on Feb. 4 in East Liverpool.
A preliminary hearing and pretrial were set March 11 for Jasper Mountz, 40, Fair Avenue, Salem, charged with fourth-degree felony burglary and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly trespassing into a garage and entering a residence via the attached garage in Salem on March 4. Mountz was also allegedly found with a bag for “storage of dangerous drugs” in his possession.
A preliminary hearing and pretrial was set March 14 for Charles Lee Bell II, 20, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, charged with second-degree felony felonious assault and criminal damaging for allegedly shooting a pellet gun from a window at a vehicle in East Liverpool on March 4. The pellets allegedly caused damage, along with shattering the driver’s side front window.
A preliminary hearing and pretrial have been set March 14 for Davante Jackson, 31, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with third-class felony having weapons while under disability- drug-related conviction and driving under an operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs suspension from a traffic stop on March 5 in Fairfield Township.
Roy Moffett, 52, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 160 days suspended and credit for 14 days served, leaving six days left to serve, for domestic violence, for causing harm to another family member by pushing a woman up against a sink counter and putting his weight on her and choking her. Moffett was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.
Dominic Crooms, 24, Summit Drive, Salineville, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended and credit for two days served, leaving zero days left to serve, for menacing. Crooms was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service. On Feb. 26 in Salineville, Crooms allegedly told a neighbor he wanted to “fight and kill” them because he was upset that the neighbor called the police on Crooms for being loud in his own apartment.
A pretrial was set May 30 for William McFarland Jr., 32, Prospect Street, Salem, charged with criminal damaging, criminal trespass, and use of unauthorized plate for allegedly illegally storing his camper on a neighbor’s property without their permission and then causing damage to the neighbor’s property, his camper, and his vehicle while trying to move the camper on March 1 in Salem. On Feb. 6, McFarland was cited for use of unauthorized plate in a separate incident.
Rochim Kertodjojo, 54, Akron, was fined $750 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 90 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for requesting sexual conduct with an undercover agent in exchange for $100 using the cell phone found in his possession on Aug. 15, 2023 in Salem.
A pretrial has been set for Michael Murphy, 71, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs- first offense and speed.
Elizabeth Plouse, 36, Akron, was fined $920 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 174 days suspended and credit for three days served after completion of a driver intervention program, leaving three days left to serve, for OVI and left of center.
A pretrial has been set April 25 for Matthew Conley, 23, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 26 items totaling $524 at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb. 26.
Kristey Armstrong, 42, Washingtonville, was fined $150 and sentenced to nine days in jail, with credit for nine days served, for drug paraphernalia for being found with two glass pipes with residue and baggies with a white crystal-like substance in them during a traffic stop on Feb. 20 in Salem.
A pretrial was set May 28 for Matthew Hart, 41, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia, liquor consumption in a motor vehicle, and physical control for allegedly being found by police in East Liverpool on Feb. 27 slumped over the wheel of his vehicle with an open Twisted Tea can in his cupholder and a cut straw with residue typically used to ingest narcotics in his possession. A charge of open container was dismissed by the state as improperly filed.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Kyle Blattert, 40, state Route 518, Hanoverton, charged with OVI- first offense.
Kadin Jackson, 19, Dyke Road, Negley, was fined $250 for underage consumption.
A pretrial was set April 11 for Tony Hilton, 43, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, charged with speed.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Paula Criss, 51, Waddell Street, Leetonia, charged with speed.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Devontay Bickley, Worthside Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension and failure to display valid sticker.
Thomas Redman III, 41, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, was fined $1,150, with $800 suspended, leaving $350 left to pay, and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 30 days suspended, leaving zero days left to serve, for driving under suspension restriction and use of unauthorized plate.
Jeffery Hiple, 36, Bentley Drive, Salem, was fined $0 for driving under suspension.
Alana Rivello, 40, Struthers, was fined $150 for speed.
William Santimarino, 35, Lisbon Street, Wellsville, was fined $255 for unauthorized plate, driving under suspension, seat belt, and tail lights.
Jennah Honeycutt, 30, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 for 49 mph in a 45 mph zone, amended from speed. A charge of child restraint was dismissed.
Zaira Garcia Alcazar, 20, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, was fined $50 for driving under suspension and traffic control devices.
Charles Smith, 43, Dewey Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $400 for two counts of driving under suspension, stemming from two separate traffic stops.
Tani Lily, 51, Seigler Road, Salineville, was fined $180 for driving under suspension and loud exhaust.
Curtis Jackson, 41, Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
Jason Sidwell, 39, Andrew Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.
Jason Miller, 33, South Johnson Road, Sebring, was fined $75 for no driver’s license.
