LISBON — Linda Dapollonia, 43, Chester, W.Va., was placed on community control or probation for two years after pleading guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on May 14, 2022.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set April 4 for David Russell Abate, 35, Indiana, Pa., charged with third-degree felony compelling prostitution, fourth-degree felony attempted illegal assembly and fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website of an adult female and a minor child and requesting to have sexual conduct with the minor in exchange for $100, then traveling to East Palestine on March 28 for the meeting with the cell phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.

A pretrial was set May 21 for Joe Eugene Amick, 52, Altoona, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $240, traveling to East Palestine on March 15 for the meeting, with the cell phone used to make the arrangements.

A pretrial was set April 4 for Joshua D. McElroy, 33, Youngstown, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual conduct for an agreed upon price of $80 from an undercover agent via cell phone and driving to Salem on March 28 for the meeting. The affidavit noted that McElroy is a registered sex offender.

A pretrial was set April 4 for Dawn Hammon, 57, Cannons Mill Road, Calcutta, charged with domestic violence for threatening to shoot a man in the head during an argument on March 28 in St. Clair Township.

A pretrial was set April 4 for Stephen Camp, 38, most recent address Industry, Pa., charged with drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct for allegedly walking on the railroad tracks in East Liverpool on Oct. 8, 2022, causing a train to stop for safety reasons. While being patted down, a drug kit was found on Camp that contained needles, cotton balls and a clear empty baggie. Arraignment was also set April 4 on a charge of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing several burnt meth/crack pipes on a floor while checking an Etruria Street, East Liverpool apartment for occupancy on March 28.

James Ludt Jr., 33, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 for theft for failing to scan and pay for several times valued at $115 at the Salem Walmart on Aug. 12, 2021.

A pretrial was set May 28 for Christopher John Thomas, 38, Gravers Road, Hanoverton, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly being caught climbing through the window of an East Liverpool residence who had already been told he wasn’t allowed on the property.

A pretrial was set June 20 for Kerry Lytle, 47, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, charged with endangering children while operating a vehicle and physical control for allegedly being intoxicated and trying to get into a vehicle with two juvenile children to leave the Giant Eagle parking lot in Calcutta on March 23.

A pretrial was set June 20 for Tammy Knox, 49, Grandview Street, East Liverpool, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense and reasonable control.

A pretrial was set June 30 for Joseph Englander, 56, Teegarden Road, Lisbon, charged with reasonable control and no seat belt.

Whitney Almy, 34, Dunn Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Devon Jones, 31, Cleveland, was fined $100 for expired license and a window tint violation.
