LISBON -- A Salem man accused of having a firearm in a Salem bar last fall was placed under community control or probation for three years.

William Munholand, 64, Gilson Road, pleaded guilty this week in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to fifth-degree felony illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premise and misdemeanor aggravated menacing.

Munholand had been accused of pulling a a firearm out of his pants and pointing it at a bartender at the Flying Pig Saloon in Salem on Oct. 23, 2023, making the victim believe he was going to cause him serious physical harm.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

-- Richard Camerlin, 64, Chester, W.Va., was placed on probation under community control for two years for possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing cocaine on Ag. 20, 2021.
