LISBON — Tammy Merriman, 52, Martha Street, East Liverpool, was served a secret indictment for a third-degree felony charge of aggravated possession of drugs (methamphetamine) in an amount greater than the bulk amount but less than five times the bulk amount, stemming from an incident on Jan. 14, 2023.

— Matthew Marshall, 23, South Union Avenue, Salem, was served a secret indictment for charges of theft, passing bad checks, forgery, and telecommunications fraud– all fifth-degree felonies. Between April 22, 2023 and May 2, 2023, Marshall allegedly defrauded Kevin McCormick and Thirsty Night Golf League by cashing several bad checks written in Marshall’s name without McCormick’s knowledge and used telecommunications devices to further the fraud.
