Highway Patrol
— Shannon Magmore, 25, Columbiana Road, New Springfield, was cited for reasonable control after the vehicle she was driving east on state Route 14 traveled off of the right side of the road, striking a street sign in Fairfield Township at 1:59 p.m. Feb. 22.
— Jaycie Madden, 46, state Route 164, Leetonia, was cited for assured clear distance after the vehicle she was driving southbound on state Route 164 struck a car being driven in front of her by Brian Gingerich, 25, state Route 164, Leetonia, when Gingerich slowed to make a right turn into a private driveway in Fairfield Township at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20.
— A vehicle being driven by Allison Miller, 38, Wayne Bridge Road, Lisbon, northwest on Wayne Bridge Road in Lisbon lost control, traveled off of the left side of the road, struck an embankment, and overturned at 9:05 a.m. Feb. 18. No citation was issued due to a majority of the curve being covered in ice and several other vehicles not being able to safely navigate the same section of road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol report. No injuries were reported.
— Brock Hillyer, 21, Lake Front Drive, Salem, was cited for reasonable control after the vehicle he was driving southeast on Haessly Road in Hanover Township failed to maintain control on the snow-and-ice covered road and crossed left of center, striking a car traveling in the opposite direction, driven by Gary Eichler, 68, state Route 45, Salem, at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 17. Both cars traveled off of the right side of the road. Hillyer was transported by emergency medical services to Salem Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
— Judy Chechuck, 53, Weirton, W. Va., was transported by Wellsvile EMS to the East Liverpool City Hospital with possible injuries after the vehicle she was driving northwest on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township traveled off of the right side of the road, struck a sign and an embankment, before coming to a stop at 1:55 p.m Feb. 15.
