LISBON – In Columbinaa County Municipal Court, a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony, against Joshua M. Marshall, 36, Boardman, was bound over to the grand jury. Marshall allegedly received $3,800 for landscaping work that he didn’t complete.
A charge of weapons under disability, a third-degree felony, against Christopher M. Brink, 43, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the grand jury. Drug task force agents found a gun in his vehicle while executing a search warrant at his home Dec. 11. Brink was under indictment for aggravated trafficking and aggravated possession at the time of the search.
A sentencing hearing was set Jan. 8 for Clifton D. Roush, 56, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly entering a vehicle at a Salem business and attempting to take a gas can. Roush was found to be highly intoxicated, posing a risk to the public.
A pretrial was set March 4 for Sarah A. Updyke, 43, Canton, charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and a turn signal violation.
A pretrial was set March 7 for Buddy P. Richardson, 45, Parma, charged with OVI first offense and endangering children following a traffic stop Dec. 23 in a Unity Township business parking lot in which he was driving recklessly with a juvenile passenger.
A pretrial was set March 7 for Angela Dawn Nalley, 44, Mulberry Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly taking five items worth $84.85 from the Calcutta Walmart. In a separate case Nalley was fined $200 for driving under suspension and failure to signal.
A pretrial was set March 11 for Saquoya Carlene Kinney, 22, Warren, charged with obstruction of official business after she allegedly refused to turn over a cell phone during an investigation of a sexual exchange Dec. 26 in East Palestine in which she was a “friend” of a the person who arranged the meeting.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Joseph Robert Anderson, 25, Knox School Road, Alliance, charged with reasonable control.
A pretrial was set March 25 for Ku Doh, 28, Akron, charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools after he agreed to pay $50 for sex in response to an online ad posted by a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent and traveled to Salem Dec. 28 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set March 28 for Jesse L. Williams, 30, East Third Street Salem, charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass for allegedly entering a secured Columbiana home between Feb. 16 and Feb. 21, 2022 and defacing property. A restitution hearing is also scheduled for March 28 for a traffic crash Oct. 13 in Salem in which he had juvenile passenger and was charged with OVI, driving under suspension and assured clear distance ahead.
A pretrial was set April 1 for April Dawn Badamo, 22, Oakland Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with criminal trespass for allegedly being inside a West Fourth Street residence while it was reported as being burglarized.
A pretrial was set April 1 for Jade R. Mayer, 27, Industry, Pa., charged with OVI first offense, reasonable control, no driver’s license and a seatbelt violation.
Jordan Richards, 23, state Route 30, Minerva, was fined $150 for a violation of a nuisance order issued by the Columbiana County Health Department regarding a septic system.
Terry Coleman Johnson, 40, West Market Street, Alliance, was fined $30 for a tinted glass violation. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.
Michael K. Lawler, 34, Richmond Heights, Ohio, was sentenced to three days in jail (credited) and fined $300 for driving under suspension and an equipment violation. A charge of possession of marijuana was dismissed.
Eric R. Hardy, 36, Washington Street, Newell, W.Va., was fined $180 for driving under suspension and loud exhaust.
Ronald E. Seese, 56, Uniontown, was sentenced to 180 days in jail (174 suspended), fined $1,125, placed on two years probation and had his license suspended one year an ordered to complete 40 hours community service and alcohol and substance abuse evaluation.
Brandon D. Crisp, 3, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $85 for speed and expired license.
