Grand Jury
LISBON — A Salem man accused of bringing a weapon and drugs into the Columbiana County jail was served Wednesday with a secret indictment for felony charges issued by the county grand jury.
Martel Selig, 39, Cherry Street, was charged with third-degree felonies of illegal conveyance of weapons onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility and fifth-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of fentanyl-related compound.
The incident with the deadly weapon and drugs allegedly occurred on Nov. 4, 2022 and involved methamphetamine and fentanyl.
