LISBON — An East Liverpool man already in prison for other cases was sentenced to 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Jordan L. Gainer, 35, Smithfield Street, was ordered to serve the term at the same time as the other sentence. He was accused of possessing buprenorphine on Nov 4, 2022.

For the other case, he was sentenced to three to four and a half years for aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, an additional three years for a gun specification and an additional six months for drug charges for a total maximum possible sentence of eight years total. Gainer had been accused of entering a home when he was armed with a shotgun, in order to commit a theft offense, on Jan. 1, 2022, leading the resident to fear for her life or safety. He possessed fentanyl and buprenorphine on Feb. 26, 2022.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Dustin Hockenbury, 40, Youngstown, previously Phenix City, Ala., pleaded guilty to fifth-degree felony importuning, and fourth-degree felonies of a lesser included offense of attempted compelling prostitution (originally compelling prostitution) and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, with sentencing set for April 8. A charge of possessing criminal tools will be dismissed. Hockenbury was accused of requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old female in exchange for $300, then drove to Salem for the meeting on July 20.

— Julie Lewis, 46, Park Avenue, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set for March 21 for possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 29, 2022.

— Andrea Gibson, 46, Rochester Road, East Rochester, pleaded guilty to third-degree felonies of aggravated possession of drugs and illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of a detention facility and fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, with sentencing set for April 1. Gibson was accused of possessing methamphetamine on April 5, 2022 and conveying drugs into a detention facility and possessing an amount of methamphetamine equal or exceeding bulk, but less than five times bulk on Feb. 11, 2023.
