LISBON — Recently in Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set Jan. 2 for a Youngstown man accused of soliciting despite his HIV positive status. Dominique Thomas, 35, Youngstown, is charged with soliciting with positive HIV, possession of a drug abuse instrument and possessing criminal tools. Thomas, who it was later discovered to be HIV positive, allegedly posted an ad to a known prostitution website, agreed to perform sexual acts in exchange for money and traveled to East Palestine to do so around Dec. 24. Thomas was also reportedly found to have an uncapped hypodermic syringe in his possession at the time of his arrest.
A pretrial was set March 12 for Troy Verity, 38, Niles, charged with two counts of prostitution, possessing criminal tools and drug paraphernalia. Verity allegedly agreed to exchange $50 and methamphetamine for sexual activity with a known prostitute and requested to “role play” as a daughter and stepfather. Verity is a registered sex offender, stemming from a 2018 conviction in Utah for attempted sexual abuse of a child. It was later reportedly discovered that Verity and another male were planning to tie up the prostitute and steal items to “recoup” their money. On Dec. 23, Verity arrived with the other male in East Palestine to meet with the prostitute. A cell phone, methamphetamine and a meth pipe was found in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 28 for JulieAnn Day, 25, Elizabethtown, Pa., charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan 83 items worth $752.79 at the Calcutta Walmart on Dec. 19.
A pretrial was set Feb. 1 for Cassanadra Badini, Rootstown, charged with third degree-felony tampering with evidence, possessing criminal tools, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, no brake light and no seatbelt. An officer allegedly observed Badini’s vehicle with just one functioning brake light and Badini opening the driver’s door and continuing to drive before bringing the vehicle to a stop on state Route 45 on Dec. 13. Badini was ordered out of the car for officer safety reasons and placed in the back of a patrol car where she reportedly removed a glass smoking pipe from her pocket, kicked it under the seat and concealed it with a sock. Badini was later searched and a crystal-like substance was reportedly found in her coat which she admitted must have come from the glass pipe.
A pretrial was set March 7 for Jessica Jiminez, 44, Lincoln Avenue, East Palestine, charged with theft. Jiminez allegedly stole a package from her neighbor’s porch and denied knowing its whereabouts on July 12.
A pretrial was set March 28 for Robin Dimko, East School Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence. Dimko allegedly physically assaulted another female by punching her and scratching her neck at her residence on Dec. 22.
A pretrial was set Jan. 8 for Casey Cline, 47, Alliance, charged with three counts of theft and obstructing official business. Cline allegedly stole a chipper shredder from Tractor Supply in Salem. Cline reportedly admitted to stealing the chipper and turned it over to officers investigating the incident on July 4. Cline also allegedly, with the aid of a female accomplice, loaded a generator into a cart at True Value in Salem and left without paying for it on June 26. The incident was captured on security video. Cline was also implicated and charged for stealing Amazon packages from a porch in Knox Township. Cline allegedly denied any involvement and impeded the investigation, according to the report.
A pretrial was set March 28 for Cobden Hitchon, 32, Pittsburgh, charged with possessing criminal tools and soliciting, Hitchon allegedly posted an online ad, agreed to perform sexual acts for $200 and traveled to East Palestine to do so around Dec. 24. A tablet and cell phone was found in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 26 for Jeffrey Faer, 56, Alliance, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Faer allegedly agreed to pay $60 for sexual activity with an undercover agent on Dec. 24 and traveled to Salem to do so.
A pretrial was set March 21 for Teryn Fullerton, 28, Jackson Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence. Fullerton allegedly punched another female at her residence on Dec. 23. Fullerton denied striking the victim but injuries were observed on both women and there was blood present on Fullerton’s shirt. The woman said she defended herself after Fullerton started the altercation.
A pretrial was set Jan. 11 for Shane Williamson, 46, Woodbine Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with two counts of theft. Williamson allegedly failed to pay for $144 worth of items at the Dollar Store on state Route 14 on Oct. 30. Williamson also allegedly failed to pay for $358.66 worth of items at the East Liverpool Giant Eagle on Aug. 15.
A pretrial was set Jan. 4 for Ariel Rauch, 26, County Home Road, Lisbon, charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and drug paraphernalia. Rauch allegedly threw items off her second-story balcony on Dec. 22.
A pretrial was set March 5 for Kevin Gregory, 34, Pancake Clarkson Road, Negley, charged with obstructing official business and criminal trespass. Gregory allegedly refused to show identification or exit his vehicle after repeatedly being instructed to do so after pulling her car onto private property on Dec. 22.
A pretrial was set Jan. 4 for Allen Vancooney, 28, charged with theft. Vancooney allegedly took unpaid merchandise to the parking lot of the Salem Walmart. He returned to the store and put more items in his cart before being confronted by asset protection when he attempted to leave the store again without paying on Dec. 22.
A pretrial was set March 28 for John O’Connell, 57, state Route 164, Salineville, charged with domestic violence. O’Connell allegedly pushed a female and attempted to punch her in the face at his residence on Dec. 22.
A pretrial was set Jan. 4 for Gary Ridgley Jr., 43, Bell Road, Lisbon, charged with two counts of obstructing official business, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended operator’s license and possession of a drug abuse instrument. Ridgley was arrested after a traffic stop on state Route 170 and Dresden Avenue on July 2. Ridgely allegedly attempted to conceal himself in the car and was arrested for an active warrant out. On Dec. 23, Ridgley was pulled over on Fairfield School Road and gave a fake name and date of birth to the officers.
A pretrial was set Jan. 11 for Tammy Ingledue, 60, Main Street, Columbinana, charged with criminal trespass. Ingledue allegedly was involved in an argument on Wind Rose Court despite being trespassed from the property on Dec. 24.
