LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Ryan Bable, 38, Freedom, Pa., was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. A charge of possessing marijuana was dismissed. Bable was also ordered to complete 20 hours community service. An education course was already completed. Bable responded to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranged for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $50, traveling to East Palestine on Dec. 18, 2022 for the meeting.
Nick Rhodes, 50, Youngstown, was ordered to serve eight days in jail for violating his probation for charges of domestic violence and obstructing official business from an April 27 incident on old state Route 344, Salem Township. Rhodes was also fined $150 and sentenced to 12 days in jail, with credit for 12 days served, for domestic violence for a Nov. 23 incident on old state Route 344, Salem Township, when he kicked in the front door and broke the water heater, making a woman and children fear for their safety.
Eric Spooner, 50, Blueberry Drive, Columbiana, was fined $400 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for domestic violence and resisting arrest. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Spooner got in the victim’s face and punched him at a Bell Avenue, Columbiana property on March 26, then resisted when police came to arrest him at his own residence.
A pretrial was set Dec. 11 for Lonnie Cunningham, 30, Lincoln Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly kicking a woman on Oct. 28 in East Liverpool.
Michael Posey, 49, Youngstown, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended and credit for two days served, for criminal trespass. He was ordered to perform 10 hours community service and to have no contact with STG Communications. Posey climbed into the dumpster at STG Communications in Columbiana and then was seen running away on Jan. 7.
Maille McKenna Osborne, 19, Woodbine Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $350 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for theft. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Osbourne stole 22 items valued at $317 from the Calcutta Walmart on Nov. 29.
A status hearing was set March 12, with a trial March 20, for Tara Lynn Montgomery, Chester, W.Va., charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 11 items totaling $71 at the Calcutta Walmart on March 23.
Kristal Barnett, 39, Claibourne Street, East Liverpool, was fined $500, with $400 suspended, for failure to file city income tax return for failing to file East Liverpool city income tax on April 15.
Tucker Mills, 22, Shelburne Falls, Mass., was fined $600 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served, for reasonable control, obstructing official business and failure to stop after an accident. His driver’s license was suspended for 180 days, with driving privileges granted. Mills ran into the woods after walking away from a traffic accident even after being told by a Columbiana police officer to stop on Aug. 27.
Chachi Peddicord, 38, Florence Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, amended from violation of a protection order, for being in the workplace of a person who had a protection order against him on July 15, 2022 in East Liverpool.
Tyler McCoy, 25, U.S. Route 30, Kensington, was fined $920 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for speeding and physical control, amended from operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted.
Michael Dunlap, 46, West School Street, East Rochester, was fined $985 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI, unsafe vehicle, no seat belt and loud exhaust. His driver’s license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
Tyler Metzler, 18, Struthers, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program for OVI. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted.
Randy Reynolds, 44, Louise Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for an equipment violation, amended from reckless operation.
A pretrial was set Feb. 13 for Joana Mitchell, 49, Youngstown, charged with speeding.
A pretrial was set Jan 4 for William Wildman, 49, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Dec. 19 for Isaac Chalmers, 25, Pittsburgh Street, Columbiana, charged with driving under suspension and reckless operation.
