LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Joseph Summers, 43, Erie, Pa., was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served for possessing criminal tools, amended from engaging in prostitution, another count of possessing criminal tools and attempt, amended from possession of drugs. He was ordered to forfeit $160 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, to complete 60 hours community service and a 12-hour online prostitution prevention course. Summers was accused of responding to an undercover ad for a mother and female on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with the females in exchange for $160 and traveling to East Palestine on Feb. 26 for the meeting. He also had suspected cocaine in his sock.

Jaspreet Singh, 22, Youngstown, was fined $500 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for two counts of disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to forfeit $70 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. He was also ordered to complete 40 hours community service and a 12-hour online prostitution prevention course. Singh was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female, traveling to East Palestine on March 22 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Feb. 15 for James Gerald Gibson, 55, Washington, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $140, then traveling to East Palestine on Nov. 24 for the meeting.

A pretrial was set Dec. 14 for Gloria Lykens, 33, Youngstown, charged with two counts of theft for allegedly scanning 41 items at the self checkout at Dollar General, state Route 14, East Palestine, paying 62 cents and leaving the store still owing $257 on March 9 and also placing five Hostess snacks in her purse and leaving without paying for them, owing $15, at Rogers Food and Fuel in Rogers on Sept. 21, 2022.

A pretrial was set Feb. 13 for Cara-Lee Blystone, 32, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft and possessing criminal tools for allegedly stealing 16 items totaling $114 at the Calcutta Walmart on Nov. 22, cutting the tags off and concealing items in her purse.

A pretrial was set Jan. 8 for Kaylee Ploeg, 30, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 31 items totaling $99 at the Calcutta Walmart on May 25.

A pretrial was set Feb. 27 for Joni Lynn McDole, 30, Maplewood Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with endangering children for allegedly not doing anything to protect a child from a man at the residence who assaulted the boy.

A pretrial was set March 5 for Mitchell Soules, 33, Elberon Avenue, Salem, charged with weapons while intoxicated and criminal endangerment for an alleged incident July 1 when a man reported hearing glass breaking and a loud boom from Soules’ residence where police found multiple bullet holes in the porch. Soules allegedly told police he was cleaning his shotgun and drinking and discharged one round through the window.

Angelica Fosnaught, 28, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for disorderly conduct, amended from menacing. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Fosnaught was accused of threatening a man during a domestic incident Aug 29 in Columbiana.

A bond hearing was set Jan. 8 for Jason M. Call, 30, Avondale Street, who failed to appear for a probation violation hearing on Nov. 27 for a domestic violence case.

A pretrial was set Feb. 27 for Treyven Johnson, 23, Bradshaw Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a glass crack pipe during a traffic stop on Nov. 24.

Tod Green, 61, Lippencott Road, East Rochester, was fined $200 for two counts of failure to file tax return related to sales tax for his business in East Rochester in March and April.

Brandi Buchanan, 38, Seventh Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $920 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.

A pretrial was set Feb. 15 for Frank Caserta, 48, Alliance, charged with OVI first offense, speeding and traffic control devices.

Jacob O’Neil, 24, Fairfield School Road, Columbiana, was fined $75 for expired registration and speeding. No fine was issued for charges of possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia.

Joshua Ireland, 41, West Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $150 for speeding and no license. No fine was issued for charges of possession of drug abuse instrument and drug paraphernalia.

Georgeann Railing, 47, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, was fined $280 for drug paraphernalia, no seat belt, unsafe vehicle and marked lanes.

Robert Toot, 64, Salem Warren Road, Salem, was fined $250 for passing on left, amended from stopping after accident.

Justyn Lake, 23, Hazel Run Road, Salineville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and speeding.

A pretrial was set March 7 for Anthony Angellone, 26, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension and reasonable control.

Brian Rice, 49, Diamond, was fined $150 for possessing marijuana paraphernalia.

Demarcus Ivory, 24, Youngstown, was fined $50 for a tail light violation.

A pretrial was set Feb. 22 for Jeffrey Miller, 42, Anderson Boulevard, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Dec. 12 for Brandon Moore, 20, Annesley Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle.

Nikki Reynolds, 43, Woodville Road, Leetonia, was fined $150 for speeding.
