LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Timothy Lodge, 34, Summit Street, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury on a third-degree felony failure to comply (fleeing/eluding) charge and a misdemeanor driving under suspension charge related to a recent traffic incident. A pretrial was also set Nov. 6 for charges of no motorcycle endorsement, reasonable control and failure to display valid sticker for same incident.
Lodge allegedly fled at a high rate of speed from an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper who initiated a traffic stop in Salem on July 9, with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph on state Route 14 in a 35 mph zone. As the pursuit entered Mahoning County, the motorcycle the defendant was operating went left of center and struck a guardrail, with Lodge later found in a wooded area after fleeing.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Lodge on charges of driving under suspension and speeding from a June 25, 2022 traffic stop and charges of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs third offense, driving under suspension, furnish false information and speeding for a May 7, 2022 traffic stop.
A preliminary hearing was set Aug. 17 for Shawn Osborn, 42, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, charged with third-degree felony strangulation and fourth-degree felony domestic violence for allegedly choking, strangling and suffocating a woman and cutting her face in the presence of a child on Aug. 4 in East Liverpool.
A preliminary hearing was set Aug. 17 for Gerald Jackson, 39, McCloskey Road, Columbiana, charged with fourth-degree felony theft and third-degree felony failure to comply with fleeing and eluding for allegedly stealing a truck belonging to Donald Pitts, fleeing from police and crashing the truck in a head-on collision on Aug. 6 in Hanover Township, injuring two people in the other vehicle.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Aug. 17 for Steven Richard Stark, 44, New Milford, Pa., charged with third-degree felony compelling prostitution, fourth-degree felony attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, fifth-degree felony possessing criminal tools and misdemeanor engaging in prostitution for allegedly responding to a posted undercover ad of an adult female and 15-year-old female on a known prostitution website, arranging to have sexual conduct with both females in exchange for $320 and arriving in East Palestine on Aug. 7 for the meeting.
Kyle David Gray, 32, Warren, was fined $400 and given suspended jail terms of 90 days and 60 days for possessing criminal tools and soliciting for soliciting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a purchaser of sex for $120 and arriving in Salem on April 26 for the meeting. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Lateasha Brown, 40, Akron, charged with possessing criminal tools, obstructing official business and soliciting for allegedly posting an ad soliciting sex for hire on a known prostitution website and arranging to have sexual activity with an undercover agent in exchange for $470. When Brown arrived in East Palestine on Aug. 7 for the meeting, she started trying to drive away when approached by marked police units, only stopping when being blocked in and then refusing to exit the vehicle.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Samuel John Stickel, 42, Pulaski, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $240 and driving to East Palestine on Aug. 3 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Roy Gingerich, 80, Uniontown, charged with possessing criminal tools and engaging in prostitution for allegedly requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent in exchange for $80 and driving to Salem on July 18 for the meeting.
Ashley Bable, 36, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $450 and sentenced to 12 days in jail, with credit for 12 days served, for theft and falsification. She was ordered to pay restitution of $27 to Save A Lot in Lisbon. Bable was accused of stealing three packages of steaks from Lisbon Save A Lot on Aug. 18, 2022 and giving false information about her identity during a traffic stop on Dec. 18, 2022 in Elkrun Township.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Robert McKay, 53, Market Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly becoming angry with a woman, yelling at her and throwing yogurt, just missing her head during an incident Aug. 7 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Oct. 24 for Khrystelle Pavlick, 28, East Third Street, Salem, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly possessing a bag of syringes at a Salem home during the execution of a search warrant on May 8 by the county Drug Task Force.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Shane Meade, 44, Ridge Street, Leetonia, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly continuously yelling obscenities at his next door neighbor through his upstairs window in Leetonia on Aug. 7.
A pretrial was set Nov. 9 for Cody Vorderbrueggen, 29, Beaver Falls, Pa., charged with assault for allegedly punching a man in the nose and face area after an argument in East Palestine on July 23.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Robert B. Smith, 46, last known address Hammond School Road, Wellsville, charged with criminal damaging and criminal trespass for allegedly trespassing at a Hammond School Road, Wellsville property he had been evicted from and removing the metal roof from an unattached garage on July 30.
Tony Hilton, 43, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for theft for failing to scan and pay for 17 items totaling $95 at the Calcutta Walmart on Feb.13. He was ordered to perform 40 hours community service.
Cathy Pappas, 48, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 29 days suspended and credit for one day served, for complicity. A charge of theft was dismissed. Pappas was charged for her part in the alleged theft of a wallet in Wellsville on Oct. 25, 2022.
Thomas Eugene Powell, 27, Allison Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended and credit for two days served, for disorderly conduct, amended from domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Powell was accused of threatening to burn a house down and throwing a cell phone at a woman, hitting her hand and causing injury sometime in May in East Liverpool.
Marcos Mateo, 23, Washington Street, Salem, was fined $1,025 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and driving under suspension. A charge of unauthorized plate was dismissed and his driver’s license was suspended for one year. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Nicolette Peronis, 26, Aliquippa, Pa., charged with endangering children, failure to stop after an accident and assured clear distance for allegedly striking the back of a parked car in East Palestine on July 28, then driving off after striking the vehicle again while her juvenile daughter was with her. Police observed intoxicating behavior after making contact with Peronis an hour later.
A pretrial was set Aug. 17 for Christopher Pierce, 36,Annesley Road, East Liverpool, charged with open container, OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense, driving under suspension and reasonable control.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Adalee Moore, 30, Pleasant View Drive, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense and assured clear distance.
A pretrial was set Nov. 9 for Bobbi Lynne Stoddard, 51, Harvey Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a burnt glass pipe and a crystal like substance in a chap stick container during a traffic stop on July 15, 2022 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Dalton McKinnon, 22, LaCroft Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument for allegedly possessing syringes on Aug. 1 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Sept. 26 for Daniel Raffle Jr., 50, West Street, Salineville, charged with no valid license and speeding.
A pretrial was set Nov. 6 for Robert Hartman, 46, New Springfield, charged with OVI.

Grand Jury
LISBON — Denise Edmond, 44, Township Road 289, Salineville, was served Saturday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing oxycodone on June 9, 2022.
