LISBON — A Wexford man was sentenced to 150 days for felony-five importuning, felony-four attempted compelling prostitution and attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Thomas Edward Oday was also sentenced to three years community control upon completion of his jail sentence and was designated as a Tier II Sex Offender. Oday reportedly agreed to pay $200 for sex with a 15-year-old foster home runaway and her 16-year-old friend in October of 2021.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Glenn Collins III, 41, Longs Church Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced 18 months in prison for third-degree felony burglary and three counts of violating a protection order from an incident in July 22, 2022. Collins also received eight months in prison on two counts of theft and two counts of breaking and entering stemming from another case.

— Zachary Markovich, 29, Poland, entered a change of plea to guilty to one count of fifth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl-related compound as part of a plea agreement. He was found in possession of the fentanyl-related compound on May 20, 2022. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Nov. 27.

— Jeffery Meredith entered a change of plea to guilty to one count of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, for having a loaded firearm in a vehicle on Oct. 19, 2021. Meredith will be sentenced on Sept. 28.

— Shakeyla Bratton, 31, Youngstown, was sentenced to three years of community control on one count of illegal conveyance of drug abuse onto grounds of a specified government facility. Bratton arrived for her work shift at the county jail on County Home Road on Oct. 29, 2022 with marijuana in her possession. The county sheriff’s office had received a tip about her bringing contraband to inmates inside the jail.

— Erin Atkinson, 43, Vienna, was placed on a three-year treatment plan in lieu of conviction for possession of a fentanyl-related compound and was ordered to forfeit $80 for an incident in 2022.

— Jajaun Coleman, 23, Youngstown, was sentenced to two years of community control for fifth-degree felony aggravated possession from an incident on May 26, 2022.

— Kimberly Jackson, 38, Old state Route 558, Salem, was sentenced to 180 days for felony-five aggravated possession of drugs and possession of LSD. Jackson’s community control was dishonorably terminated and she was given credit for 151 days served. The charges stem from an incident on Jan. 30, 2020.

Municipal

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a Lorain County man was bound over to the county grand jury, charged with second-degree burglary, aggravated menacing obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. Kristopher Quintero, 32, North Ridgeville, allegedly kicked in a door at a residence on Echo Dell Road in Rogers and threatened to do bodily harm to two females on Aug. 20. While investigating the incident, police reported that Qintero refused to cooperate and tried to prevent witnesses from speaking to law enforcement officers.

A preliminary hearing was set Sept. 5 for Dontae McKissic, 21, charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery with physical harm. McKissic allegedly assaulted a man at a Salem fast food restaurant on Aug. 27. Witnesses reportedly observed McKissic dragging the man outside before slamming the victim against a wall and punching him several times in the face while he was on the ground. McKissic then allegedly took the man’s watch, wallet and backpack. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

David Delagrange, 53, Norton, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct, amended from engaging in prostitution. Delagrange reportedly agreed to exchange $160 for sexual activity with an undercover agent and traveled to Salem to do so on May 16.

John Dunn, 62, Youngstown, was fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and criminal tools. Norton agreed to exchange $100 for sexual activity with an undercover agent and traveled to East Palestine to do so on May 30.

A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 14, Madison Clark, 18, Canfield, charged with falsification and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. During a traffic stop on Aug. 28 in Columbiana, Clark allegedly gave a false name when questioned. Upon a search of the vehicle, several suspected fentanyl pills, a small bag of cocaine and snort straws were found.

A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 13 for Martin Barckhoff, 40, Joy Lane, East Liverpool, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Barckoff allegedly agreed to exchange $120 for sexual activity with an undercover agent and traveled to East Palestine to do so on Aug. 26.

A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 2 for Stephen Rudy, 47, Marshall, Michigan, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and expired temporary tag. Rudy allegedly agreed to exchange $140 for sexual activity with an undercover agent and traveled to East Palestine to do so on July 30.

Jerry Malone II, 43, West Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $500 for resisting arrest and obstructing official business and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 suspended and credit for three days served. Malone had to be wrestled to the ground and had to be placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for the obstruction charge in the driveway of his residence on Oct. 8. On Sept. 29, Malone was questioned by Salem police in regards to trespassing at the Family Dollar in Salem. When questioned, Malone denied being in the store and identified someone else as driving his car which officers determined was false after reviewing video footage from the store.

A charge of obstructing official business was dismissed against Jerry Malone III, 20, Canton.

A pretrial hearing was set Sept. 7 for Shane Potts, 33, Avondale St., East Liverpool, charged with failure to stop after an accident, illegal operation of a dealer’s motor vehicle, expired license, marked lanes, two counts of possession of marijuana, two counts of illegal use of drug paraphernalia, theft and criminal trespass. The charges stem from several incidents. The first incident was reported by a Minerva Street man whose security camera was stolen on July 4 by an unknown man. Potts was later identified as the culprit when Potts reportedly turned on the camera and the man was able to view footage of Potts using his camera. In another incident, Potts allegedly left the scene of an accident involving a head-on crash between a car and a dune buggy on Anderson Boulevard, Aug. 3. When police arrived, they discovered the abandoned dune buggy was registered to Potts on Aug. 3. Officers found a glass pipe in the vehicle. Warrants were issued for Potts’ arrest following both incidents. On Aug. 28, Potts was observed by East Liverpool police riding a bicycle on Anderson Boulevard and initiated a stop to place Potts under arrest during which several glass smoking devices along with suspected methamphetamine was found in his possession.

A pretrial hearing was set for Kevin Call, 23, state Route 46, New Waterford, charged with driving under suspension, speed and illegal use or possession of drugs.

Jason Dean, 49, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $91o and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 suspended and credit for three days served for OVI and tail lights. He was also ordered to perform 40 hours of community service.

A pretrial was set Nov. 28 for Sara Noling, 37, Wood Street, East Palestine. Noling was found in possession of a syringe on Aug. 9 on Liberty Street after police responded to the reports of a suspicious person.

A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 14 for Jerome Flenory, no age provided, Main Street, Hanoverton, charged with two counts of disorderly conduct while intoxicated, domestic violence and possession of marijuana. Flenory allegedly made threats of harm to a female at his residence and was found intoxicated in his driveway and in possession of marijuana.

A pretrial hearing was set Nov. 28 for Angelica Fosnaught, 28, Fairfield Avenue, Columbiana, charged with menacing. Fosnaught allegedly refused to allow a man to leave her residence and threaten him with bodily harm on Aug. 29.

Tabitha Oiler, 34, Minerva Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,000 for six counts of failure to file city income tax with $950 of fines suspended under the stipulation all past due returns are filed and remittances made.

Jamie Roberts, no age provided, Wedgewood Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,000 for failure to file city income tax with $950 of fines suspended under the stipulation all past due returns are filed and remittances made.

Heather Mason, no age provided, Dorothy St., East Liverpool, was fined $1,500 for failure to file city income tax with $1,450 of fines suspended under the stipulation all past due returns are filed and remittances made

Bridget Miller, 66, Thompson Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $500 for failure to file city income tax with $450 of fines suspended under the stipulation all past due returns are filed and remittances made.

Christopher Fox, 43, Wedgewood Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,000 failure to file city income tax with $950 of fines suspended under the stipulation all past due returns are filed and remittances made.

Lori Call 30, Stow, was fined $500 for theft and drug paraphernalia. Call was also sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended and credit for two days served. Call stole a bicycle from a residence in Depot Road in Salem on Aug. 31, and when arrested, was found to be in possession of a glass pipe.

A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 14 for Wesley Liscomb, 37, state Route 344, charged with OVI.

Austin Bacho, 24, Boardman, was fined $150 for failure to display and equipment violation, amended from speed.

A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 30 for Amber Hutchins, 39, Riverview Street, East Liverpool, for drug paraphernalia driving under suspension and slow speed.
