Grand Jury

LISBON — A second Gardendale Street, East Liverpool resident has been charged as an alleged major drug offender after a drug bust at her residence on July 18.

Danielle Molish-Tanner, 36, was served Tuesday with a secret indictment issued by the recent Columbiana County Grand Jury for trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine, trafficking in fentanyl-related compound and possession of fentanyl-related compound, all first-degree felonies due to the amount of drugs involved.

All the charges include a major drug offender specification and specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case, with two of the MDO specifications involving fentanyl. The forfeiture of money involves $160 Molish-Tanner possessed during the drug raid.

Khalide Moore, 25, who also lives on Gardendale Street, was present at the site of the drug raid and charged in an open indictment with first-degree felonies of possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession of fentanyl-related compound, trafficking in fentanyl-related compound, a fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and specifications for forfeiture of money in a drug case and major drug offender specifications.

The Columbiana County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence at 306 Gardendale Street on July 18 and found a large bag of suspected narcotic tablets and a large bag of suspected narcotics in a cabinet in the kitchen. Lab tests confirmed the 994 tablets contained fentanyl and the other substance was 583.04 grams of cocaine.

Also served Tuesday with a secret indictment was Javott Dawson, 20, Campbell, charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. The charge stems from Dawson fleeing from police on Aug. 21, 2022.

LISBON — A Youngstown man was sentenced to nine months in prison for the assault of a police officer during a Leetonia incident in February.

Chad Love, 36, previously of Salem, entered guilty pleas in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to the fourth-degree felony assault and misdemeanors of falsification, obstructing official business and criminal mischief.

A charge of attempt related to an attempt to steal a car and two counts of criminal mischief were dismissed. He received credit for 188 days already served in jail.

On Feb. 6, Love gave a false name and ran away from officers trying to take him into custody in Leetonia after incidents when he damaged cars and ripped off the hand rail to the post office building and assaulted a police officer. He also attempted to steal a car.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Phillip E. Steele, 63, Highland Drive, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree felony domestic violence, with sentencing set for Nov. 6. Steele was accused of causing physical harm to a woman at a residence on Duke Vodrey Road in St. Clair Township on Jan. 19 to Jan. 20, with a previous domestic violence conviction on his record.

— Brian Gerren, 60, East Main Street, Salineville, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set for Sept 28. Gerren possessed methamphetamine on May 3, 2022.

— Reva McCullough, 32, Gipner Avenue, East Liverpool, was ordered to serve a time of incarceration at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center until the program is completed as an added condition for probation. McCullough violated her probation for fifth-degree felony charges of theft from a person in a protected class and misuse of credit card from an incident in August 2021. The prosecutor recommended she remain on probation, but with the added condition of the EOCC.

Municipal

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, charges of breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia against Justin James Schneider, 32, Highland Avenue, Wellsville, were bound over to the grand jury. Schneider is accused of entering a home by force, being found in possession of a duffle bag containing copper piping and bolt cutters and a backpack containing screwdrivers and a crowbar, as well as a burnt glass pipe. In a separate case, Schneider was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail (credited) for driving under suspension.

A pretrial was set Aug. 21 for Lachelle Marie Malone, 34, West Main Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing a bowl at the victim, breaking his TV and spitting on him Aug. 13 at her home.

A pretrial was set Aug. 21 for Tyler L. Antoniazzi, 28, Colorado Springs, Colorado, charged with two counts of assault for allegedly attacking two people following a road rage incident in East Palestine Aug. 8.

A pretrial was set Nov. 14 for Camren Malachi Sisco, 19, Sixth Street, Wellsville, charged with theft for allegedly grabbing money out of the victim’s hand which was more than she owed him June 19 in East Liverpool.

Rodger Allen Davis, 54, Warren, was sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, placed on two years probation and ordered to complete 20 hours community service and an online anti-prostitution course for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools, with a charge of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle dismissed with prejudice at the request of the prosecution.

Mary B. Brewer, 43, Penn Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

Rodney David Frye, 42, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

David Samuel Talbert, 67, Sugar Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for expired license and taillights.

Paul G. Geiger IV, 40, Lower Elkton Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for expired license and flashing headlights.

Mary C. Turek, 68, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $200 for failure to stop at a railroad crossing, with a charged of failure to comply dismissed.

Logan Thomas Pinkerton, 19, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for speeding.

A charge of domestic violence was dismissed against Christopher J. West, 30, Vine Street, Salem, due to an indictment in common pleas court. West was accused of causing physical harm to a victim by punching, choking and dragging her down a set of stairs in Salem May 13.

A charge of invalid sticker was dismissed against Sherry L. Gallagher, 72, James Drive, Wellsville.
