Grand Jury
LISBON — A Youngstown man accused of bringing drugs into a detention facility was served Wednesday with a secret indictment for three felony counts.
Eric McQueen, 31, was charged by the Columbiana County Grand Jury with third-degree felony illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, fourth-degree felony possession of fentanyl-related compound and fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine. The charges all stemmed from an incident March 31, 2022 and involved cocaine and fentanyl-related compound.

LISBON — Glenn Collins, 41, Longs Church Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to breaking and entering and theft, both fifth-degree felonies, with sentencing set for Aug. 25. Collins was accused of entering an unoccupied structure on Feb. 23, 2022 and stealing the furnace.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Joseph Brian Vincent, 41, Mansfield, was bound over to the county grand jury on charges of third-degree felony compelling prostitution, fourth-degree felony attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and fifth-degree felonies of importuning and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent posing as a 15-year-old female in exchange for $140 and arriving in Salem for the meeting July 24.
A case against Sierra Gantt, 36, Cleveland, was bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property for allegedly having a stolen firearm in her purse during a traffic stop on July 25 in St. Clair Township while she was a passenger.
A pretrial was set Oct. 26 for Paul Golden, 37, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening a woman, holding her down and placing his hands around her throat and covering her mouth and nose saying it would be her last breath during a domestic on July 31, 2014 in St. Clair Township.
David W. Vincent, 54, Ambrose Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for disorderly conduct, amended from assault, for punching a man in the face on May 1 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Oct. 24 for Devon Ellerson, 24, Akron, charged with possessing criminal tools and soliciting for posting an ad on a known website known for the solicitation of prostitution and offering to perform sex acts in exchange for $100 with an undercover agent posing as a purchaser of sex, arriving in Salem on Aug. 2 for the meeting.
Indira Wrhen, 46, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct, amended from theft. Wrhen was accused of placing several items into a bag covered by a coat and leaving Giant Eagle in Salem without paying on April 30. The dollar amount of the items came to $76.
A pretrial was set Aug. 10 for Joni Lynn McDole, 30, Maplewood Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a meth pipe during a traffic stop on Aug. 2 in Liverpool Township.
A pretrial was set Nov. 7 for Ashley Paith, 39, Graysville, Pa., charged with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a broken glass pipe containing burnt residue during a traffic stop on July 15 in Perry Township.
John Sheridan Joy, 40, last known address Sixth Street, Wellsville, was fined $655 for three counts no valid license, loud exhaust, driving under suspension, two counts possessing marijuana. A pretrial was set Aug. 31 for no valid license, two counts driving under suspension, loud exhaust, and use of unauthorized plate.
A pretrial was set Oct. 24 for James Ketchum III, 31, Church Street, Salineville, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offense, no seat belt and reasonable control.
A pretrial was set Nov. 7 for Derek Rhodes, 49, West Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under suspension and improper/expired registration.
Erin Rassmussen, 36, Blacklick, was ordered to serve 45 days in jail for violating his probation for a 2021 OVI third offense and stop sign violation case.
