LISBON — A Pennsylvania man accused of entering a Columbiana County residence to commit theft pleaded guilty recently to a lesser-included offense of burglary, a third-degree felony.

Miguel Guerroro, 27, Monroeville, Pa., was originally charged with a second-degree felony burglary charge for the April 26, 2019 incident. He entered the plea in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, with sentencing set for Sept. 11.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Devon Hall, 23, West Park Avenue, Columbiana, pleaded guilty to possession of fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing the drug on Oct. 8, 2021. Hall was placed on intervention for two years.

— Jamilyn Huston, 38, North Lima, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanors of possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentencing was set for Sept. 11. The charges stemmed from her possession of drug abuse instruments, paraphernalia and methamphetamine on Jan. 17, 2022.

— Geoffrey Mathey, 50, Bank Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing Sept. 8 for possessing oxycodone on Sept. 9, 2021.

— Christopher Noel, 46, Howell Avenue, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to nonsupport dependents, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set Sept. 8 for failing to pay child support from Sept. 13 2020 to Sept. 4, 2022.

Columbiana County Grand Jury

LISBON — Two women are facing felony charges related to a pedestrian fatality on state Route 344 in Perry Township in March 2022.

Patricia Lynn Phillips, 29, Vine Street, Salem, was served Thursday with a secret indictment for failure to stop after an accident, a third-degree felony, for allegedly failing to immediately stop after striking 46-year-old Brandy Lynn Lasky on state Route 344 on March 11, 2022.

Brandy Phillips, 30, Granite Street, Salem, was served Thursday with a secret indictment for obstructing justice, a fifth-degree felony, related to her alleged actions on March 11, 2022.

Lasky was killed by a passing vehicle while walking in the westbound lane of the road after midnight. Patricia Phillips allegedly left the scene and Lasky was found unresponsive with a head wound.
