Municipal Court

LISBON – In county Municipal Court, an Oct. 7 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Jason W. Bridge, 31, Beacon Light Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI fourth offense, a fourth-degree felony; as well as misdemeanor charges of OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, driving under OVI suspension, hit skip, left of center and failure to control.

An Oct. 7 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for Steven T. Lightner, 21, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with theft, a fourth-degree felony; failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony; obstructing official business, a misdemeanor; and cited with expired license, reckless operation, marked lanes and speeding. On Aug. 25, Lightner allegedly took a vehicle belonging to Teneishia Coleman without her permission and during the investigation failed to stop for Perry Township police on West State Street near U.S. Route 62 and reportedly fled on foot from Salem police.

An Oct. 7 preliminary hearing was set for William David Doran, 48, Girard, charged with compelling prostitution, a third-degree felony; attempted sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony; and possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony. On Thursday, Doran allegedly agreed to have sex with someone he believed to be a 15-year-old girl, who had run away from foster care.

A Nov. 18 pretrial was set for Tony Tharpe, 63, Front Royal, Va., cited with OVI first offense and unsafe vehicle.

A Dec. 6 pretrial was set for Damian A. Jackson, 18, East Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with underage consumption after a 30-pack of Natural Light and an 18-pack of Twisted Tea was found in the vehicle he was in on Sept. 10, when no one in the vehicle was old enough to have the alcohol.

Charles Dejean Hall, 23, Canton, was fined $330 for possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and a turn signal violation.
