Grand Jury
LISBON -- Ashley Lyn Sekely, 38, Union Street, Washingtonville, was served a secret indictment charging her with receiving stolen property and forgery, both fifth-degree felonies, as well as misdemeanor charges of petty theft and passing bad checks. On March 29, Sekely allegedly had a check belonging to Glenda Knight, which was written for $200 without Knight's permission, payable to both Logan Daugherty and Sekely. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in August.

LISBON - In Common Pleas Court Richard A. Monigold II, 41, Blossom Road N.E., Salineville, was sentenced to three years community control, including up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center, for aggravated possession of drugs. Monigold had methamphetamine on June 30, 2019.
Municipal
LISBON -- Anthony Trolio, 71, Youngstown, pleaded no contest in county Municipal Court to engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. Sentencing is set for July 23.
An Oct. 5 pretrial was set for Peyton Adams, 27, Hawkins Lane, Columbiana, cited with OVI third offense, driving under suspension, left of center and expired registration.
An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Kevin Allen Brand, 42, Canton, cited with OVI second offense, possession of marijuana, open container and speeding.
An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for Melanie J. Fraser, 58, Allen Avenue, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense and one way traffic.
An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Michael A. Russell, 39, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, charged with assault for allegedly striking Jeffrey McGraw several times in the head on July 28.
An Aug. 30 pretrial was set for Shane Carpenter, 49, 13th Street, Wellsville, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly spray painting a derogatory statement on a home whose owner had hung a sign in her window telling people not to knock on her door because the drugs were being sold by her next-door neighbor, reportedly a friend of Carpenter.
An Oct. 7 pretrial was set for Sarah A. Wutrick, 34, U.S. Route 30, East Rochester, charged with theft for allegedly talking a can of Red's Wicked Apple Ale from Smith Oil in Lisbon and placing into her purse to avoid paying for it on Aug. 12.
Karsen T. Kaiser, 18, Hawley Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to three days in jail for theft for stealing video games and consoles from a South Lundy Avenue, Salem, address on Thursday and selling the items at Cashland in Salem for $40.
Trista Robertson, 21, Walnut Street, Salem, was fined $350, credited with two days in jail and required 30 hours community service for theft for failing to scan $240 at the Salem Walmart on May 29.
Devon Musser, 20, Salem Grange Road, Salem, was fined $150 for speeding.
Allison N. Lemasters, 20, Malone Road, Salineville, was fined $310 for expired license, failure to display plates, driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle.
Jamie M. Pastore, 33, Teegarden Road, Lisbon, was fined $230 for failure to display a valid sticker and two counts of driving under suspension.
A Sept. 27 pretrial was set for Kristy L. Hoprich, 41, West Washington Street, Lisbon, cited with leaving the scene and improper backing.
Dominick Woodruff, 19, Barberton, was fined $35 for speeding. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.
