LISBON -- Melissa K. Brennen, 50, state Route 7, Columbiana, the former employee of the county engineer's office who was sentenced to six months in prison in early January for theft in office, has now been ordered to pay $2,940 in restitution by an order signed this week by Common Pleas Court Judge Megan Bickerton.
Sean Allan Little, 49, Prospect Street, Salem, pleaded guilty to theft, a first-degree misdemeanor charge, a lesser charge to the theft from a person in a protected class he was initially facing. Between Sept. 7, 2017 and Sept. 30, 2018, Little stole electric service from a landlord, Margaret A. Leone. Little was credited with 23 days served in jail.

LISBON -- In county Municipal Court, Nicholas J. Ohanlon, 23, Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, was credited with 18 days served, sentenced to an additional 12 days in jail, fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for aggravated menacing for sending threatening texts indicating that he would kill Aubri Scut, with whom he was ordered to have no further contact.
Josiah P. Laughlin, 21, state Route 7, Rogers, was credited with 12 days served in jail, sentenced to an additional three days in jail and fined $750 for possession of drug abuse instruments and carrying a concealed weapon. On Nov. 8, Laughlin was reportedly found with a syringe in his pocket, appeared to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol and reached for a large, fixed blade knife on the floor of the vehicle when he was asked to step out of it at the Duke and Duchess in Columbiana.
Tricia A. Watson, 37, East Fourth Street, Salem, was credited with 10 days served in jail and fined $500 for obstructing official business and criminal damaging for throwing a fire extinguisher into the windshield of a vehicle owned by Mark R. Gaul on Jan. 19 and throwing eggs on the wall.
A March 25 pretrial was set for Laura J. Sanders, 55, Pine Hollow Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI second offense and a taillights violation.
A March 30 pretrial was set for Catherine A. Davidson, 53, Harrison Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.
A March 30 pretrial was set for Chelsea Diane Edmundson, 31, County Airport Road, Wellsville, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.
Clay E. Bolton, 31, Youngstown, was fined $1,025, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to three days in jail, credited with an additional three days for attending a counseling program and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, open container and lights required.
A March 30 pretrial was set for Irina Marie Sprankle, 23, East Parkside Drive, Boardman, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a glass methamphetamine pipe in an upstairs bedroom of a Wood Street, East Palestine, home on Dec. 24.
Mia N. Sheets, 30, Carbon Hill Road, East Palestine, was credited with four days served in jail, sentenced to an additional six days in jail consecutive to time Sheets is serving in an East Liverpool Municipal Court case and fined $150 for illegal use of drug paraphernalia. Sheets was further sentenced to five days with credit for five days served for a contempt of court charge for failing to appear for a hearing.
A Feb. 4 pretrial was set for Timothy R. Boggs, 28, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, charged with assault, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct for allegedly fighting on Oct. 5 and threatening Janeen Hostetter on Jan. 16 by claiming "I'm going to get a gun and I know where everyone lives." Additionally, he reportedly threw a milk jug at Hostetter's head.
Jonathan David Rockhold, 46, Broadway, Wellsville, was fined $400 for driving under suspension, loud exhaust and drug paraphernalia for two glass smoking devices with burn marks.
Aaron Dalton, 28, Arbor Road N.E., Minerva, was fined $250 for driving under suspension and fictitious plates.

EAST LIVERPOOL -- In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Christine R. Pease, East Liverpool Road, has been set for a status hearing April 6 on charges of OVI, OVI (above .17 BAC), hit-skip and divided roadway. She appeared Thursday before visiting Judge John M. Solovan, who retired after serving in Belmont County, after Judge Dominic Frank had recused himself.
Just after midnight Oct. 4, officers responded to a report that Pease, who allegedly was intoxicated, was involved in a wrong way two-vehicle traffic crash before finally being stopped while exiting U.S. Route 30 onto state Route 7 in Madison Township. She eventually provided a .193 BAC, almost three times the legal limit.
According to defense attorney Joe Ludovici, his client allegedly has entered counseling and planned to enroll in a three-day driver intervention program.
