MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, An April 4 preliminary hearing was set for John D. Gbur, 48, last known address Park Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly throwing hot candle wax into the face of Casey Rohaley, his ex-girlfriend, with whom he reportedly has a child.
Stacie L. Saracco, 25, Broadway, Wellsville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a charge of illegal conveyance of any drug of abuse. Saracco is accused of smuggling six grams of heroin into the county jail in her vaginal area on March 12, using a half a gram per day and then swallowing the last two and a half grams of heroin on March 18 to avoid detection when jail staff were searching the cells. The swallowing of the heroin reportedly resulted in her overdosing requiring medical assistance.
Josef B. Zeidrich, 35, Rose Street, Minerva, was fined $930, had his license suspended for a year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense, seat belt violation and parking on the highway.
Jodi Dawn Johnson, 48, Sixth Street, Wellsville, was fined $925, had her license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.
Robert E. Reynolds, 48, South Lundy Avenue, Salem, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense.
Gina M. Vizzo, 34, Allen Avenue, Minerva, was fined $700, had her license suspended for 180 days, required three days in counseling and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and marked lanes.
Christy Hager, 35, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $700, had her license suspended for 180 days, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and a tail lights violation. A lane violation citation was dismissed.
Melissa R. Reynolds-Anderson, 40, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $430 and required 20 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension and one count each of a seat belt violation and failure to yield the right of way.
Nick A. Salisberry, 26, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and 50 hours of community service for driving under suspension.
Daniel J. Cunningham, 27, College Street, Alliance, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for speeding in a school zone.
Kristopher G. Wischerman, 44, Ellis Street, East Palestine, was fined $300, had his license suspended for four months, sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and headlights required.
Lane M. Sfakis, 24, East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.
Sean D. Gaul, 24, Girard, was fined $280 for failure to produce a license and speeding.
Jeremy McElroy, 43, Orangeburg, S.C., was fined $250 for failure to reinstate a license.
Dustin M. Randolph, 28, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250.
Michael J. Fowler, 37, South Vine Street, Columbiana, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Heather L. Richardson, 28, Rose Drive, Lisbon, was fined $200, credited with two days served and required 30 hours community service for assault for spitting in the face of Tracie Blakeley on Feb. 13.
Anthony K. Carmelo, 36, Randel Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Edward C. Adams, 55, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 for reckless operation amended from hit skip. A failure to control citation was dismissed. A restitution hearing was set for June 7. Adams was exiting Taco Bell in Salem when he went over the curb on the other side of the street, ran over a tree and through the fence at Hunt Valve before fleeing the scene.
Charles R. Morjock, 51, Poland, was fined $150 lighted lights required amended from speeding.
An April 4 pretrial was set for Nicholas P. Crookston, 28, Elberon Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife, Bobby Crookston, in a vehicle at the Suburban Market in Salem on Feb. 25.
An April 4 pretrial was set for Brandon E. Hacker, 23, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, cited with no licenses, a stop sign violation, failure to comply and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale a controlled substance for fleeing on foot from a trooper from the Highway Patrol attempting to make a traffic stop on state Route 170 near state Route 154 on Feb. 26 and having a glass pipe.
An April 18 pretrial was set for Morgan L. Cook, 28, Canfield, cited with OVI first offense, possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances for allegedly having a glass smoking pipe with residue beside the driver’s seat.
A May 3 pretrial was set for Joshua S. Best, 31, Sharp Avenue, Salem, cited with obstructing official business for telling police a woman was not at home when they came with a warrant and then she was located upstairs asleep.
A May 5 pretrial was set for Katrina L. Willis, 45, West Street, Salineville, cited with failure to reinstate a license.
A May 5 pretrial was set for Michael R. Moore, 49, Federal Heights, Col., cited with operating without reasonable control.
A May 5 pretrial was set for Madison P. Thomas, 20, Franklin Avenue, Salem, charged with assault and two counts of criminal mischief for allegedly keying Jason Smith’s and Kristen Taylor’s vehicles on March 26, and also biting Taylor, pulling her hair and hitting her multiple times in the head.
Lee W. Miller, 24, Howell Avenue, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and a sentencing hearing was set for May 5.
A May 9 pretrial was set for Brandi Jo Moore, 34, Elkton Road, Lisbon, charged with OVI first offense, a seat belt violation, restricted tinted glass and possession of a drug abuse instrument.
A May 10 pretrial was set for John W. Wickersham Sr., 65, Augusta, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – An April 4 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for William Vandyke II, 51, state Route 45, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing Shelda Keefer by the shirt while she was asleep, putting his fingers in her eyes and later grabbing her by the neck on March 3.
A pretrial was also scheduled for Vandyke for that date, citing with no license and criminal trespassing for being on the property of Red Bud Mining on May 18, where Keefer had fallen from the vehicle while they were riding the trails and was left behind.
James A. Hoover, 39, Bonnieview Avenue, Alliance, was fined $550, ordered to pay $500 in restitution to Patrick Bennett and $279 to Tracy Bennett, credited with one day served in jail and sentenced to 39 days in jail for assault, aggravated trespassing and criminal damaging. On Nov. 17, Hoover pushed Tracy Bennett to the ground. While she was trying to pick her clothes up off the ground where they were dumped, Hoover got into her face and called her names. Hoover went to the property of Tracy and Patrick Bennett with a friend, Ben Metts, in an attempt to fight Patrick and his son Steffen Murphy. To provoke a fight, Hoover began grabbing multiple pieces of lawn furniture, a pot, a broom and beer cans, throwing them against the house and yelling threats. He also threw a tire onto the windshield of Patrick Bennett’s vehicle, smashing the glass. Leaving in a hurry when he heard patrol vehicle sirens, Bennett got into this truck and side swiped Murphy’s vehicle.
Angela C. Willmarth, 31, McCann Road, Kensington, pleaded no contest to domestic violence for striking her father, Dennis C. Willmarth, in the chest three times and then biting him on the wrist while he was restraining her to keep her from hitting him on Monday. A sentencing hearing was set for March 31.
A May 9 pretrial was set for Brad E. Kasunich, 32, Union Street, Columbiana, cited with confinement/restraint of a dog after three dogs allegedly escaped their enclosure on March 3 and at least one person, a 14-year-old, was bitten.
A May 10 pretrial was set for Marc Sheely, 26, South Union Avenue, Salem, cited with two counts of prohibitions concerning companion animals. Sheely allegedly was needlessly cruel in his treatment of the male, black and tan German shepherd puppy between Jan. 3 and March 3, including punching it and it was found to be in emaciated condition on March 3.
A May 10 pretrial, Randy S. Delp Jr., 33, Columbia Street, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated, after allegedly falling asleep at the Powerhouse Cafe on South Broadway, Salem, and being unable to regain sobriety enough to safely leave.
A May 10 pretrial was set for Kasen J. Smith, 20, East 11th Street, Salem, cited with possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances.
A May 17 pretrial was set for Justin P. Shaw, 35, North Canton, cited with driving under suspension.
A May 19 pretrial was set for Wayne D. Fryer, 57, Chester, W.Va., cited with OVI first offense, driving under suspension, speeding, possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substance for allegedly having two metal pipes with burnt residue.
Laurence W. Houmard II, 50, Canton, was sentenced to three days in jail and fined $275 for driving under suspension and speeding.
Craig A. Eckman, 30, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Josef B. Zeidrich, 35, Rose Street, Minerva, was fined $100 for open container.
Daryl A. Burkey, 25, state Route 45, Wellsville, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and a sentencing hearing was set for May 31.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, James L. Beebout, 45, Densmore Avenue, East Liverpool, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to Hancock County, West Virginia where he is charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and grand larceny.
Gregory Weingart, 20, North Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $240 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of drug paraphernalia, no license, failure to display a valid sticker and speeding.
Jordan R. Johnson, 25, Jones Drive, Salem, was fined $230, credited with a day served in jail and ordered 50 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.
Nicholas J. Cyphert, 23, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $250 and ordered 30 hours community service for driving under suspension. A failure to display a valid sticker citation was dismissed.
Steven Michael Brown, 55, Smith Road, Salineville, was fined $230 for failing to stop for a stopped school bus and improper registration.
Clifton L. Jezek Jr., 30, Lincoln Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.
Kurt R. Holloway, 20, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.
Jenna R. Barborak, 22, Bandy Road, Homeworth, was fined $150, required 30 hours community service and credited with a day in jail for obstructing official business for lying to Perry Township patrolman Anthony Konders about whether Jordan Johnson was at the Jones Drive, Salem, home on March 9.
Sterling Hughey, 27, Steubenville, was fined $30 for improper registration. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.
A March 28 pretrial was set for Eric Uphold, 45, Goshen Road, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly was paid $2,500 in exchange for giving Larry Parker, doing business as Manor Leasing, a bad title, which was reportedly stolen in another jurisdiction.
A March 28 pretrial was set for Tracy L. Mattern, 45, Bye Road, East Palestine, charged with assault and disorderly conduct while voluntarily intoxicated. Mattern is accused of striking Raymond Leonard in the ear and back of the head at the New Waterford Eagles Club on Thursday.
An April 19 pretrial was set for Scott D. Wallen, 56, Mill Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking Cody Jones in the head with a plate on March 11.
An April 21 pretrial was set for Paige E. Bennett,19, Orchard Grove Avenue, East Liverpool, cited with driving under suspension.
An April 26 pretrial was set for Russell B. Dugan, 55, Courtney Road, Beloit, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
An April 28 pretrial was set for Jeffery T. McCain, 41, West State Street, Salem, cited with failure to stop for a private property accident.
An April 28 pretrial was set for Sean D. Chappell, 33, Union Street, Columbiana, cited with OVI first offense, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia for an alleged tin-foil pipe.
A May 5 pretrial was set for Timothy M. Tonkinson, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
Gary S. Sisley, pleaded no contest to hit skip/leave scene and assured clear distance for striking the mirror while trying to avoid a stopped vehicle in front of him in front of Kent State University in Salem on March 9. Sentencing is set for April 7.
Derrick G. Black, 54, Youngstown, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and speeding. A sentencing hearing was set for April 28.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – A March 24 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Richard C. Fristik, 48, Park Avenue, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly fighting with his son on Wednesday evening when he already has two previous domestic violence convictions in Columbiana County Municipal Court, as well as a previous felony domestic violence conviction in Common Pleas Court in 2005.
A March 24 pretrial was set for his son, Jeremy R. Fristick, 28, Park Avenue, East Palestine, also charged with domestic violence for brawling with his father. They were reportedly found by police on the floor punching and pulling hair on Wednesday.
March 24 sentencing hearings were scheduled for two women reportedly found to be selling tobacco to minors. Deborah L. Randolph, 33, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, pleaded guilty to illegal distribution of a tobacco product for selling Marlboro Red Cigarettes to a 16-year-old while working at Down on Main in Leetonia on March 7. Karen S. Knoedler, 44, Lakeview Drive, Lisbon, also pleaded guilty to illegal distribution of a tobacco product for selling Marlboro Red Cigarettes to a 16-year-old while working at Pidge’s Place Market, Route 172, Lisbon.
David W. Chappell, 56, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $1,100, sentenced to five days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense, hit skip and improper backing.
Cody A. Dehoff, 26, Bristol Lane, Columbiana, was fined $375, had his license sus-pended six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to a day in jail for lane violations, open container and failure to comply for trying to flee from police during a traffic stop on Aug. 21.
Jonathan D. Barney, 31, Weirton, W.Va., was fined $280 for driving without a valid license and a seat belt violation.
Aaron Shrum, 38, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $250, credited with 15 days served and ordered to appear for a restitution hearing on May 26 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for taking a 2003 Dodge Caravan belonging to Amanda Bender after she had denied his request to borrow it.
Jordan R. Johnson, 25, Jones Drive, Salem, was fined $150, credited with a day in jail and required 50 hours community service for obstructing official business for hiding in a back bedroom to avoid apprehension when he knew he had a warrant on March 9.
Heather L. Fisher, 38, Seventh Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 15 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Anthony M. Bell, 19, Canton, was fined $300, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to two days in jail for underage consumption.
Chasta D. Cromer, 21, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $250 and required 10 hours community service for driving without a valid license.
Taran L. Mink, 25, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 10 hours of community service for driving without a valid license.
Alan M. Felger, 57, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for hit skip/leave scene and failure to yield the right of way following an accident in Salem on Jan. 20.

An April 28 pretrial was set for William H. Martin, 43, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with OVI first offense and open container for Black Velvet Whiskey allegedly under the passenger seat of his vehicle on Tuesday.
A May 9 pretrial was set for Lisa A. Long, 29, Elkton Road, Lisbon, cited with OVI first offense, speeding and domestic violence for allegedly striking her boyfriend, William C. Owens about the head and causing him cuts on his left arm on Feb. 17.
An April 21 pretrial was set for Christine Burns, 25, East Adams Street, East Palestine, cited with failure to reinstate a license.

LISBON – A March 21 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Michael A. Hamilton, 27, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly taking a Taurus .45 caliber pistol from another Salem home on Sunday. Hamilton’s bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.
Trent M. Clay, 24, Girard, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for a glass smoking pipe.
Ricky A. Reynolds, 25, Somer Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for grabbing and scratching her husband Shawn Reynolds on the face on Jan. 30.
Shareef M. El Bey, 51, Garfield Heights, was fined $125 for speeding.
Jeffrey R. Dalrymple, 27, 15th Street, Wellsville, was fined $100 for a miscellaneous wildlife violation for failing to properly check a deer.
Ashley M. Clark, 28, North Shady Lane Drive, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for use of an unauthorized plate.
An April 4 court trial was set for James R.A. Larkins, 20, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, cited with turn signal violation, reckless operation, a stop sign violation and failure to comply for allegedly refusing to stop during a traffic stop.
An April 19 pretrial was set for Aaron A. Tucker, 30, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Justin D. Pitts, 29, Railroad Street, Hanoverton, was bound over the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on charges of possession of criminal tools and burglary. Pitts is accused of breaking into a Hull Road, Lisbon, home on March 3 utilizing a hammer, which was reportedly broken as Pitts was prying open a door to the garage.
A March 17 pretrial was set for Scott D. Wallen, 56, Mill Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking Cody Jones in the head with a plate.
Brandon Brown, 30, Honey Lane, Leetonia, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.
George Gilbert, 58, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, and Jesse L. Toot, 24, East Clark Street, East Palestine, were each fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Christine L. Grace, 48, Farr Street, Rogers, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
Randall W. Fegert, 19, East Garfield Road, Petersburg, was fined $100 for failing to stop for a school bus.
MUNICIPAL COURT
LISBON – In county Municipal Court, Allison F. Grossen, 29, Railroad Street, Hanoverton, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a burglary charge. Grossen allegedly admitted to drop-ping co-defendant Justin Pitts at a home on Hull Road, Lisbon, so he could break into the residence and then went back to pick him up March 3.
Keith S. Kreger, 60, Fredericktown Clarkson Road, Negley, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of aggravated menacing, weapons while intoxicated, felonious assault and obstruction of official business for allegedly threatening to shoot deputies from his garage on Jan. 24 and refusing to drop his weapon.
A March 17 preliminary hearing was set for Francis J. Hopps, 46, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with failure to verify his address after allegedly having a conviction in the State of West Virginia for distribution and exhibiting materials depicting minors in sexually explicit conduct. Hopps was fined $30 for expired temporary tag.
A March 17 sentencing hearing was set for Jordan R. Johnson, 25, Jones Drive, Salem, who pleaded guilty to obstructing official business for hiding from police who had a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday. A March 17 sentencing hearing was set for Jenna R. Barborak, 22, Jones Drive, Salem, who pleaded no contest to obstructing official business for lying to police about Jordan Johnson not being at the home on Wednesday.
Cassidy A. Sandoe, 22, East Seventh Street, Salem, was fined $150, credited with seven days served in jail, ordered to serve an additional 53 days immediately and required 40 hours community service for theft. Sandoe tried to leave the Salem Walmart on March 3 wearing a stolen Bat Man watch valued at $15 on his arm, then after speaking with security fought with one of them while holding a closed blade knife in his hand. The charge was amended from a robbery charge, which was a felony.
Amy L. Corak, 36, Steubenville Pike, Lisbon, was fined $650, credited with 10 days served in jail and had her license suspended for 180 days for aggravated menacing, two counts of possession of drug abuse instrument and disorderly conduct. On Jan. 20, Corak took a cab from East Liverpool to My Bar in Wellsville, then told the cab driver, Mark Mills Jr., she did not have the $6 fare and when he said he was calling police, she threatened to stab him with a hypodermic needle in her possession. The other count of possession of a drug abuse instrument stemmed from a reported overdose at an apartment above My Bar from July 2014.
Glenn D. Buckley, 48, state Route 518, Lisbon, was fined $800, sentenced to six days in jail, had his license suspended for a year and required 40 hours community service for OVI breath .17 plus first offense and assured clear distance.
Kathryn S. Burr, 51, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, was fined $675, had her license suspended for 180 days, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense. An April 26 pretrial was set for Burr for a citation of driving under OVI suspension.
Caleb L. Rupp, 18, West California Avenue, Sebring, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana drug paraphernalia.
A March 14 sentencing hearing was set for Matthew S. Bartchy, 21, Lexington Avenue, Salem, who pleaded no contest to domestic violence for allegedly striking Samantha Newton with his hands and with a shower towel rod several times.
A March 14 sentencing hearing was set for Brett M. Ahearn, 19, Fairview Avenue, Salem, who pleaded no contest to underage consumption, possession of marijuana, possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances, OVI first offense and driving under suspension.
A May 2 pretrial was set for Carl H. Henkel, 33, Countryside Drive, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and speeding.
A May 2 pretrial was set for Edward V. Belleggia, 44, West Sixth Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense.
Shane R. Hart, 23, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, was fined $100, required 30 hours community service and credited with a day served in jail for theft for placing two Monster Energy drinks into his coat and walking out of Dollar General in Salineville Feb. 22.
Mylex X. Wood, 22, Pike Street, Alliance, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Joseph A. Croston, 33, Louisville, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
Brian S. Sutton, 34, Riley Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.
A domestic violence charge against Frankie L. Tompkins Jr., 42, Pass Lane, Lisbon, was dismissed without prejudice. Tompkins had been accused of harming a woman in a sexual manner.
A driving under suspension citation against Roy A. Barnett, 39, St. Clair, East Liverpool, was dismissed due to the suspension not yet in force at the time of the stop.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Elizabeth Hennan, 53, Richardson Avenue, Negley, was fined $705, had her license suspended for 180 days, required to attend three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and a turn signal violation.
James W. Moore, 37, Westerville, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days and was ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for physical control.
Pamela S. Knepp, 57, Elmside Street Northeast, Alliance, was fined $200, sentenced to a day in jail and required 40 hours community service for theft for shoplifting various items from the Alliance Dollar General on Nov. 8, 2015.
Dakota Duane Barnes, 20, West Chestnut Street, Lisbon, was fined $130 for driving under FRA suspension and a seat belt violation.
Kathy Komula, 55, East Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 and credited with one day served in jail for criminal mischief amended from theft for appliance items taken from a rental house she was moving out of on Aug. 5, 2015. A restitution hearing was set for June 9.
Mary L. Harvey, 56, West Clark Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.
A March 29 pretrial was set for David Keith Lynch Jr., 31, Youngstown, cited with driving under suspension and failure to reinstate his license.
An April 4 pretrial was set for David L. Faloba, 33, Woodville Road, Leetonia, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.
An April 11 pretrial was set for Donavin J. Hanna, 24, Ridge Street, Leetonia, cited with obstructing official business for allegedly not stopping for police by pulling into his own driveway and going into his house and shutting the door behind him on Friday.
An April 11 pretrial was set for Tarel A. Barnette, 31, Austintown, cited with possession of marijuana.

A June 6 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Jason W. Heffner, 36, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly having a pickup truck and a credit card within the truck, belonging to Russell Bowles. The credit card was reportedly used by Heffner to make purchases at Campbell’s Grocery, state Route 45, in Madison Township, to purchase $143 in merchandise.
A March 10 preliminary hearing was set for Cassidy A. Sandoe, East 7th Street, Salem, charged with robbery for allegedly shoplifting a Batman watch valued at $15. At one point he fought with Walmart security employese while trying to flee the security office on Thursday.
A March 10 preliminary hearing was set for Justin D. Pitts, 29, Railroad Street, Hanoverton, charged with burglary for allegedly breaking into a home on Hull Road, Lisbon, on March 3. A pretrial is set for the same time for a related possession of criminal tools charge.
Bryan J. Santee, 42, Homewood Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 and had his license suspended for six months for possession of marijuana and possession of instruments to ingest or inhale marijuana.
Michael R. McCulley, 31, West Pershing Street, Salem; Kimberly A. Kemats, 62, Adams Road, Rogers; and Debra K. Crago, 58, state Route 517, Columbiana, were each fined $100 for speeding in a school zone.
A March 7 pretrial was set for Kyle A. Tremain, 25, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with possession of drugs and driving under suspension. A sentencing hearing was set on the same date for another driving under suspension citation.
An April 18 pretrial was set for Toni Jean James, 38, Grant Street, Lisbon, charged with use of unauthorized plate and failure to reinstate a license.
An April 19 pretrial was set for David G. Parker, 29, South Bayshore Drive, Columbiana, cited with OVI second offense, possession of marijuana and failure to control.
An April 26 pretrial was set for Jack D. Evans, 18, East Main Street, Alliance, cited with driving under OVI suspension and failure to yield.
An April 26 pretrial was set for Rachel M. Seals, 37, Somer Street, Leetonia, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting fake nails valued at $3.22 from Family Dollar on West State Street, Salem, on March 3.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, David Lucas, 28, Lynchburg Road, Kensington, was bound over to the grand jury on a rape charge for allegedly going into a locked bedroom, tying up a relative, drugging her and sexually assaulting her.
Eric Saeger, 54, U.S. Route 62, Damascus, was fined $1,075, sentenced to 60 days in jail and had his license suspended for two years for OVI first offense, open container, driving under suspension and speeding.
Louis Pilati, 27, LIppincott Road, East Rochester, was fined $1,025, required 30 hours community service, sentenced to three days in jail, required a three-day counseling program and had his license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense, tail lights, marijuana possession and marijuana paraphernalia.
James Hill, 20, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $825, had his license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and placed in a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and possession of marijuana. A lighted lights required and possession of drug paraphernalia citation was dismissed.
Kevin A. Miller, 32, Bowman Road, Homeworth, was fined $705, had his license suspended for six months, required to attend a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service.
Randall P. Hamrick Jr, 27, Dyke Road, Rogers, was fined $705, required a three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and improper registration.
Joshua J. Gatewood, 25, Warren, was fined $280 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension and traffic control devices.
Tyler J. Gardner, 23, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $250 for no license.
Desiree Johnson, 49, Youngstown, was fined $250 for driving under FRA suspension.
Timothy L. Phillis, 35, Canal Street, Hanoverton, was fined $250 for driving under suspension.
Richard L. McCarty Jr., 34, Forrest Street, Lisbon, was fined $200, required 30 hours community service, credited with a day served in jail and had his license suspended for six months.
