MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – During Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday, Tonia L. Gearin, 35, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $50 for letting her chocolate lab run loose. Gearin was cited by the county dog warden on Jan. 12, and court records indicated she had five prior violations for letting her dog run loose.

In other court news, Tina L. Smith, 40, Salineville Road West, Salineville, pleaded innocent to charges of shoplifting and wrongful entrustment of her motor vehicle, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for April 12.

Smith is accused of shoplifting $3 in candy two Reese Cups and a pack of Three Musketeers -from the Dollar General store in Salineville on Feb. 16. Three days later, Smith was cited by Salineville police for allowing Isaac Lemasters to drive her car when he had a suspended license.

Corey Libert, 38, North Market Street, Lisbon, was fined $150 and given credit for four days spent in the county jail after being found guilty of misdemeanor assault. Libert knocked Scott Rudder to the ground on Feb. 21.

Steven K. Metzger, 21, of Paris, pleaded innocent to charges of OVI, driving under suspension, failure to control and possessing a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for April 5.

Guiseppe C. Hall, 24, of Ellwood City, Pa., was fined $405 and his license was suspended for six months after being found guilty of OVI and speeding. A three-day jail sentenced was waived if Hall attends driving school.

An arrest warrant was issued for Benjamin J. Goins, 30, state Route 154, Negley, after he failed to show up for a Feb. 23 pretrial hearing on charges of possessing drug abuse instruments and obstructing police business.

Zachary J. Sabol, 23, Lisbon Road, Lisbon, pleaded innocent to OVI, driving under suspension and failure to control, and a pretrial hearing is scheduled for April 7. Sabol was cited for OVI by a state highway patrol trooper responding to reports of a disabled vehicle on U.S. Route 30 in Madison Township at 3:18 a.m. Feb. 21. Sabol was found at the scene and said his car had run out of gas. He was cited following a series of tests.

At 5:58 a.m. the same day, a sheriff’s deputy responding to a report of a motorist striking mailboxes and a utility pole on state Route 164 in Center Township found a license plate at the scene belonging to Sabol’s car. A deputy went to Sabol’s home and found his car was damaged. Sabol admitted being the driver, resulting in the additional charges against him.

A probation violation hearing is scheduled for May 24 for Carl W. Young Jr., 42, John Street, Salineville, who has reportedly violated his probation on a bad check charge from 2014 by failing, among other things, to make restitution the amount of $145 to Pilmer’s Auto in Lisbon.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – Chad R. Anderson, 24, Spillway Road, Lisbon, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a charge of improper transportation of a weapon after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Thursday. Anderson allegedly had a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Depot Road on Feb. 6. Charges of OVI first offense, speeding, a seat belt violation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia were transferred to Common Pleas Court along with the felony charge.

Ralph W. Gingher, 37, Heck Road, East Palestine, was fined $800, sentenced to three days in jail, had his license suspended for six months and required 40 hours community service for OVI first offense.

A March 31 pretrial was set for Paul V. Doolittle Jr., 51, Warren, cited with OVI first offense, speeding and possession of marijuana.

Karen S. Brandonisio, 62, Homeworth Road, Alliance, pleaded no contest to domestic violence for punching, scratching and kicking Ronald Brandonisio on Sunday. A sentencing hearing was set for Monday.

Timothy O. Bradley, 36, Midland, Pa., was fined $280 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and improper/expired registration.

Herbert Walter Lockhart III, 28, Church Street, Salineville, was fined $250 for failure to reinstate a license.

Scott A. Freet, 29, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $250, credited with two days in jail and required 40 hours community service for violating a temporary protection order for calling Samantha Shultz several times.

Tony L. Fall, 41, Ash Street, Salem, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for obstructing official business amended from violating a temporary protection order. Fall had a shotgun in his possession on Dec. 28 when he had a civil protection order.

Kevin A. Criss, 48, West Sixth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $200, required 20 hours community service and credited with a day served in jail for disorderly conduct for refusing to leave the Steel Trolley Diner where he was alarming customers by throwing his hands in the air and repeatedly talking to himself on Wednesday.

Elijah J. Kaufman, 19, Creek Road, New Waterford, was fined $150 for two miscellaneous wildlife violations and a no valid permit charge. Kaufman was hunting deer while carrying a .223 rifle, hunting without the valid license and hunting squirrels during deer season.

Nicole McKenzie, 44, Toronto, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

Kevin L. Ring, 57, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $150 and required 50 hours community service for criminal mischief for putting a bar of soap in the microwave at the county jail and turning it on causing it to smoke and the fire alarm to go off on Nov. 22.

Gerald Gum, 18, Alice Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.

William Alexander-Alan Poteet, 18, Mountz Road, East Rochester, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.

A pretrial was set for Monday for Abby L. Pierson, 22, Academy Street, Salineville, cited with driving under suspension and use of an unauthorized plate.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Paul E. Clauson, 45, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, was found guilty of domestic violence, credited with four days served, sentenced to an additional 11 days, required 40 hours community service and fined $200. Elizabeth Root told police Clauson threatened to kill her on Dec. 8, 2014 and when she ran into the bedroom and held the door closed, he began kicking the door several times.

Tracy L. McCoy, 44, John Street, East Liverpool, was fined $825, had her license suspended for one year, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense.

Diane M. Knott, 48, Beloit, was fined $725, had her license suspended for six months, required 30 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for OVI first offense and no license. A marked lanes citation was dismissed.

Joseph J. Intorre III, 23, Duke Vodrey Road, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for parking on the highway and reckless operation amended from OVI first offense.

Jacob S. Ward, 26, 18th Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Christine A. Defelice, 23, Harding Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $230 and required 10 hours community service for unauthorized plate, seat belt violation and a child restraint violation.

Michael J. Purnell, 37, Boardman, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for telling a school board member, Amanda Riffee to shut her (expletive) mouth or he would kick her (rear) on Sept. 26, 2015. Riffee had told him to watch his language in front of the children at a Little Bears game in Leetonia.

Shawna L. Purnell, state Route 164, Leetonia, was fined $100 for disorderly conduct for telling Shawn Chapman she was going to “blow up the school” while he was at the gate of the Little Bears game in Leetonia on Sept. 26, 2015.

Michael P. Frattaroli, 41, Youngstown, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from assured clear distance.

Jackie E. Cruz, 30, South Market Street, East Palestine, was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under FRA suspension after it was determined the forfeiture was in error.

Brandon Russell, Garner Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

Jose Alves Delimafilho, Danbury, Conn., was fined $50 for driving off the state road. A driving under suspension cittion was dismissed because it was wrongly filed.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Matthew M. Whiddon, 35, Warren, was fined $1,230, sentenced to three days in jail, required 80 hours community service, ordered to attend a three-day counseling program and had his license suspended for 300 days for OVI first offense, a seat belt violation, marked lanes, driving under suspension and possession of drugs after two diazepam was found in his pickup on Oct. 13.

Vincent B. Vlk, 59, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days, required 30 hours community service and ordered to attend a three-day counseling program for OVI first offense and a tail lights violation.

Marlin R. Catlos, 53, West Pershing Street, Salem, was fined $675, credited with 66 days in jail and had his license suspended for three years for OVI first offense. A domestic violence charge for allegedly striking Donna Bryan in the face on Nov. 25 was dismissed.

Jill E. Silliman, 39, Overlook Drive, Salem, was fined $275, had her license suspended for 180 days, ordered her to attend the three-day counseling program and required 30 hours community service for a turn signal violation and reckless operation second offense amended from OVI first offense.

Thomas J. Phillips III, 19, South Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $500, had his license suspended for six months, credited with two days served in jail and required 50 hours community service for underage consumption and possession of marijuana.

Tony Hilton, 35, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $300 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Domingo Diego, 24, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $300, credited with six days served and sentenced to four days in jail for no license and domestic violence for punching Margarita G. Pascual multiple times in the face and stomach on Jan. 1.

George E. Faulkner, 50, state Route 14, East Palestine, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Ian T. Doucette, 33, Beaver Falls, Pa., was fined $200, required 40 hours community service and credited with a day served for obstructing official business for providing police with a false identity during a traffic stop on Sunday.

Jeffrey A. Holland, 43, Warren, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for possession of marijuana. A drug paraphernalia citation was dismissed.

Stephanie A. Tate, 26, Youngstown, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Glen L. Ferry Jr., 55, Campground Road, Wellsville, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

David J. Sisco, 49, East Fourth Street, East Liverpool, waived his right to an extradition hearing so he can be returned to Pennsylvania where he is charged with a felony burglary.

An arraignment was set on Feb. 29 for Miguel Lorenzo, 25, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Thomas E. Davis, 59, Darlingon, Pa., cited with OVI first offense, failure to control and seat belt violation.

An April 4 pretrial was set for Valerie J. Dattilio, 25, North Vine Street, Columbiana, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking her mother, Connie Dattilo, several times and pulling her to the ground on Friday.

An April 5 pretrial was set for Douglas P. Risinger, 36, Richardson Avenue, Negley, charged with OVI second offense, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a bowl used for the smoking of marijuana.

An April 5 pretrial was set for Andrew S. Coleman, 30, Continental Drive, Salem, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

An April 7 pretrial was set for Laquanda S. Brooks, 29, Youngstown, cited with possession of marijuana.

Three domestic violence charges against David S. Merriman, 26, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, were dismissed after the court received a report from Heartland Behavorial Healthcare that there is not a substantial probability Merriman will become competent to stand trial.

A criminal damaging charge against Vessie L. Ward, 29, American Healthcare, Beard Road, East Palestine, was dismissed after she was found incompetent to stand trial.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In county Municipal Court, Robert J. Anderson III, 36, Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, was bound over to the grand jury on an obstruction of official business charge after a preliminary hearing. Anderson allegedly ran from deputies while grabbing at his waist on Jan. 8. A pretrial was set for Feb. 25 on charges of open container, three counts of driving under suspension, failure to display a valid sticker and tail lights violation.

A felony receiving stolen property charge against Dustin J. Martin, 29, Youngstown, was amended to misdemeanor receiving stolen property. He was fined $150, given 180 days and credited with six days in jail on the new charge. Martin was driving a vehicle reported stolen by Myia Black of Youngstown Feb. 4.

Rachel C. Mesko, 22, McKim Way, Ellwood City, Pa., signed a waiver of extradition so she can be returned to Pennsylvania where she is accused of failing to appear for receiving stolen property.

Toni Jean James, 38, Grant Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.

Aaron L. Bardine, 22, Pleasant Avenue, Malvern, was fined $100 and had his license suspended for 180 days for marijuana possession.

Dewane L. Reynolds, 55, Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and stop sign violation.

Michael J. Seich, 26, South Linden Avenue, Alliance, , was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and a seatbelt violation.

Scott Wallen, 56, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for getting into another person’s face during an argument on Feb. 1.

Rhonda L. Jones, 59, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for attempting to stop another person from calling police or leaving the home during an argument on Feb. 1.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Donnie L. Greathouse, 37, Berry Road Northeast, Kensington, cited with driving under suspension.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Bobbi J. Fisher, 37, Hill Street, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension and speeding.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Logan K. Gaskill, 20, Ninth Avenue, LaCroft, East Liver-pool, cited with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having three packages of rolling papers and a metal grinder.

A March 28 pretrial was set for William L. Bowman Jr., 33, St. Jacob-Logtown Road, Leetonia, cited with driving under suspension.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Amy M. Mabbett, 36, Valley Drive, East Liverpool, cited with driving under OVI suspension.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A Feb. 18 preliminary hearing was scheduled in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Mary E. Kiehl, 30, Silliman Street, New Waterford, charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. Kiehl is accused of having cocaine in a glass pipe and heroin on a burnt spoon along with needles in a baggie turned over to police by Eric Taggart, who had been allowing Kiehl to stay at his home for five days along with her 5-month-old son around Nov. 20. Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Christopher J. Thomas, 30, Chestnut Street, Leetonia, was fined $500, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with 11 days served in jail and sentenced to 49 additional days for domestic violence and drug abuse instrument. Thomas kicked Amber Jones, whom he was living with on Steubenville Pike on Jan. 8. Deputies also found three syringes in the home.

Tammy L. Johnson, 48, East High Street, Salineville, was credited with two days served in jail, sentenced to an additional three days, required 30 hours community service and fined $150 for theft for taking a coat delivered to the front porch of Betty Rush on Jan. 20.

Michael A. Mitchell, 42, Mill Street, Salineville, was fined $150, required 25 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for driving under a 12-point suspension and a headlight violation.

James J. Naples III, 38, Youngstown, was fined $150 for lighted lights required.

Eric L. Taggart, 36, Park Avenue, New Waterford, was fined $100 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Mary T. Driscoll, 54, Youngstown-Salem Road, Salem, was fined $50 for speeding. A driving under suspension citation was dismissed.

Shannon Long, 33, Pittsburgh, was fined $50 for speeding.

Penny Taggart, 32, Silliman Street, New Waterford, was ordered to pay costs only for wrongful entrustment.

Bradley Shultzaberger, 52, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $50 for disorderly conduct for being intoxicated and going door-to-door at the Frola looking for a barking dog and the owner of the motel. Shultzaberger is the manager at the Traveler’s Motel.

A Feb. 18 pretrial was set for Joseph L. McIntosh, 28, South 15th Street, Sebring, charged with criminal damaging for allegedly breaking a sprinkler at the Columbiana County Jail on Jan. 29.

A Feb. 25 pretrial was set for James M. McVay, 32, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, charged with theft and criminal trespassing for allegedly shoplifting two bags of candy at the Lisbon Smith Oil on Jan. 31 and being in the Walmart in Salem on Dec. 11 after he was previously told not to be there due to shoplifting.

A March 10 pretrial was set for Christopher L. Joy, 31, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly being at Rich Oil Gas Station on Sept. 2 and making contact with Heather Joy, while attempting to assault her boyfriend, Zachary Cline.

A March 10 pretrial was set for Jason G. Adkins, 31, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with possession of marijuana.

A March 21 pretrial was set for Matthew J. Campanelli, 41, last known address East Sixth Street, Salem, cited with receiving stolen property for allegedly pawning jewelry stolen from Julie A. Moore at Cashland on Sept. 12, 2015.

A March 22 pretrial was set for James L. Adkins, 46, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with driving under suspension.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Jayce Dee Robinson, 19, Toronto, cited with possession of marijuana.

Municipal Court

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Chad B. Bash, 23, Maple Street, Salem, was fined $250 and credited with two days served for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing Rebecca Thomas down three times during an argument and striking her in the mouth on Nov. 24.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON -In county Municipal Court, Corey D. Balderson, 23, North Lincoln, Alliance, was fined $700, had his license suspended for 180 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.

Chrystal L. Westover, 32, West Wilson Street, Salem, was credited with two days served in jail, fined $250 and required 30 hours community service for theft for shoplifting $42 in merchandise from the Family Dollar in Salem on Oct. 28.

William Mullet, 44, Carrollton, was fined $250 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Jessica Marie Combs, 25, Independent Square, Wellsville, was fined $200 and required 50 hours community service for two counts of driving under suspension.

Aubrey Yeater, 42, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $150 and credited with two days served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. He was accused of grabbing his estranged wife, Ashley Yeater, from behind and pulling her down a stairway on Dec. 12. Ashley Yeater, was also fined $150 and credited with two days in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for slapping her husband and causing a small patch of skin to come off his right hand during the argument.

Edward LaRose, 62, Edgewood Drive, Columbiana, was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.

Scott E. VanPelt was fined $150 for no license amended from driving under suspension.

Timothy White, 57, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Kayla Tomidjewicz, 27, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Elizabeth Magallanes, 22, South Avenue, North Lima, was fined $100 and required 10 hours of community service for driving under suspension. A no license citation was dismissed.

Danielle Lynn Rauch, 20, Hunter Camp Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 for no license.

Andrew M. Monday, 21, Eighth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $50 for driving under suspension.

A Feb. 16 pretrial was set for Lawrence R. Keats, 58, Scotts Mill Road, Negley, cited with OVI second offense and failure to control.

A March 15 pretrial was set for Venise G. Hileman, 49, Farr Street, Rogers, charged with theft for allegedly taking a tablet from Paula Smith’s home on Carmel Achor Road, Rogers, on Monday.

A March 21 pretrial was set for Kenneth D. Stoffer, 31, Youngstown, cited with possession of marijuana and driving under suspension.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Kyla Laura Elizabeth Lawrence, 27, Cusick Road, Lisbon, cited with a stopped school bus citation.

A March 24 pretrial was set for James M. Stewart, 23, Canterbury Lane, Salem, cited with a no passing zone violation.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Ernest J. Primerano, 55, Akron, cited with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Michael Ryan Paterchak, 22, Darlington, Pa., cited with OVI and lane violations.

A receiving stolen property charge against Amber N. Smith, North Shadylane, East Liverpool, was dismissed due to venue issues. Smith was accused of having a stolen LG tablet, which was sold to Cash Land on St. Clair Jan. 23.

A OVI first offense charge against Christopher W. Mitton, 40, Gautier, Miss., was dis-missed due to evidentiary problems.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A Feb. 18 preliminary hearing and pretrial were set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Christopher M. Bias, 31, West Main Street, Washingtonville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly pinning Chelsea Paulin on the ground, choking her and stepping on her neck on Jan. 31. Bias is also charged with misdemeanor obstructing official business charge for refusing to stop when police saw him walking in the yard of another home on Walnut Street on the same date.

A Feb. 25 preliminary hearing and pretrial were set for Chad R. Anderson, 24, Spillway Road, Lisbon, charged with a felony charge of improper transportation of a weapon and cited with possession of marijuana, OVI first offense, speeding and a seatbelt violation. Anderson allegedly had a Glock 26 9mm with a magazine containing 10 rounds in the vehicle.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Amanda L. Gutierrez, 34, Arch Street, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly grabbing a 15-year-old girl by the hair, yanking her to the ground from behind, slamming her onto the concrete sidewalk and yelling at the girl as she attempted to walk away. Gutierrez teenage daughter was allegedly involved an incident where she was attempting to elicit a fight on the way out of the Skate Zone in Salem and the alleged victim reportedly had walked another girl to a vehicle to protect her from the daughter.

A Feb. 16 probable cause hearing was set for Timothy M. Tonkinson, 25, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with cruelty to animals and confinement/restraint of a dog after a female pitbull at the home was allegedly found to be malnourished on Jan. 19, 2016.

Brent A. Delmont, 53, North Market Street, Lisbon, was credited with 10 days served in jail for persistent disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. Delmont had been accused of picking up his sister, Marie Heninger, throwing her into the yard, grabbing her around the neck and choking her on June 26, 2013.

Anthony J. Cleveland, 24, Girard, was fined $550, credited with nine days served in jail and required 80 hours community service for traffic control devices and two counts of driving under suspension.

Arsell E. Allen, 29, South Freedom Avenue, Alliance, was credited with a day in jail and sentenced to four additional days for assault for going into the home of Vincent Wisenbarger on Jan. 31, pushing him to the ground, then punching and kicking him.

Robert D. White Sr., 64, Lisbon Street, Columbiana, was fined $150 and credited with two days served for domestic violence for assaulting Kayla L. White on Nov. 30.

James F. Yarnell, 32, Massillon, was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.

Gage A. Gough, 21, Ambrose Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $130 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Caitlyn Nicole Stofen, 22, East Main Street, Salineville, was fined $100 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Tim A. Hanna, 38, State Street, Leetonia, cited with OVI second offense, failure to control and a seatbelt violation.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Daniel Lattanzio, 21, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, cited with driving under FRA suspension, obstructing official business and possession of marijuana. Lattanzio is alleged to have given police his brother’s information on Friday.

A March 24 pretrial was set for Robert K. Vien, 53, Bayard Road, Homeworth, cited with hit skip/leave scene and failure to control.

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Michelle L. Jones, 35, Richards Street, Columbiana, waived her right to an extradition hearing so she can be sent to Pennsylvania where she faces charges of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.

A Feb. 11 preliminary hearing was set for Dustin J. Martin, 29, Youngstown, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly driving a vehicle in Perry Township on Thursday, after the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier that day by the owner Myia Black. Martin was also fined $50 for no license.

Joseph P. Brown, 30, Monroe Avenue, Salem, was fined $975, had his license suspended for six months, credited with a day served in jail and sentenced to 59 additional days for OVI first offense, failure to reinstate a license and speeding.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Christopher L. Joy, 31, Danbury Avenue, Wellsville, charged with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly coming near his wife, Heather Joy and attempting to assault Zachary Cline.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Brandi L. Cope, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with theft for allegedly concealing a pack of Sour Patch Kids candy at Smith Oil in Lisbon, and attempting to leave the store without permission.

A March 3 pretrial was set for Olga I. Courtney, 24, U.S. 62, Damascus, cited with driving under OVI suspension and failure to display a valid sticker.

A March 15 pretrial was set for Brian Burns, 24, East Adams Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension.

A March 17 pretrial was set for Alan M. Felger, 56, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, cited with hit skip/leave scene and failure to yield the right of way.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Donald L. Bates II, Alliance Sebring Road, Alliance, cited with OVI first offense, speeding and possession of marijuana.

A March 31 pretrial was set for Christopher M. Benson, 40, Fair Avenue, Salem, charged with driving under a 12-point suspension and speeding.

Robert R. Vecchio, 51, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $150 for intoxicated pedestrian.

Anthony D. Mazzola, 47, Muskegon, Mich., was fined $80 for speeding and no license.

Nathan B. Cain, 38, Niles, was fined $80 for driving under suspension, turn signal and speeding.

Sedrick Lippiatte, 23, New Garden Avenue, Salem, was fined $50 for open container for whiskey found in a Pureau water bottle he was drinking in a vehicle he was driving, while sitting in a parking lot on Jan. 30.

Juventino Ajanel Sica, 35, Cleveland Street, Salem, was fined $50 for no license.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – In Columbiana County Municipal Court Joseph A. Moon, 29, Honey Lane, Leetonia, was fined $975, had his license suspended for 180 days, sentenced to three days in jail and required 30 hours community service for OVI first offense, speeding, marijuana possession and marijuana paraphernalia.

Edward A. Duko II, 29, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $400, sentenced to three days in jail and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension and no license.

Darryl G. Hoppel II, 50, Bell School Road, East Liverpool, was fined $300, had his license suspended for 90 days, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for failure to control and reckless operation. An OVI first offense and OVI controlled substances citation was dismissed.

Paul E. Esenwein, 49, Salem-Unity Road, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for failure to reinstate a license.

Charitey A. Riggs, 22, was credited with two days served in jail, required 25 hours community service and fined $150 for assault for striking Jamie Rambo in the face several times on Dec. 22.

George W. Ollis, 41, Echo Dell Road, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for fictitious plates and driving under suspension.

Henry C. Parks, 57, South Lincoln Avenue, Lisbon, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct wielding two knives toward a police officer and another toward himself in an attempt to get police officers to shoot him on Jan. 26. He also broke out a window inside his home by punching it and injuring his hand.

Austin J. Smith, 18, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $80 for temporary permit violation and failure to yield.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Tammy L. Johnson, 48, East High Street, Salineville, charged with theft for allegedly taking a package off the front porch of Betty Rush containing a new coat on Jan. 20.

MUNICIPAL COURT

LISBON – A Feb. 11 preliminary hearing and pretrial were set in county Municipal Court for Robert J. Anderson III, 36, Dutchtown School Road, Rogers, charged with a felony obstruction of official business for allegedly fleeing from his mother’s 1998 Toyota pickup after a traffic stop, running toward an orchard while grabbing at his waist and causing deputies to draw their weapons and climb over a barbed wire fence to pursue him on Jan. 8. He was also cited with misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, open container, tail lights violation, failure to display a valid sticker and three counts of driving under suspension.

Scott Alan Powell Jr., 35, Dutchtown School, Rogers, signed a waiver of extradition to be returned to Pennsylvania where is is accused of failing to appear for a OVI third offense charge. He also has an April 28 probable cause of a probation violation hearing here for 2014 convictions of physical control, OVI first offense, failure to reinstate a license, assault and aggravated menacing.

Ben E. Metts, 41, Western Reserve Road, North Benton, was fined $500, credited with a day served in jail and sentenced to an additional 29 days for criminal damaging and aggravated menacing. On Nov. 17 Metts and his friend, James Hoover, reportedly went to the property of Tracy and Patrick Bennett on Georgetown Road in an attempt to fight Patrick Bennett and his son, Steffen. The two men grabbed multiple pieces of lawn furniture, a pot, a broom and beer cans; throwing them against the house and door; cracking the door frame and making threats. Hoover, 39, Bonnieview Avenue, Alliance, has also been charged with criminal damaging, aggrava-ted trespassing and assault. His jury trial is set for April 6.

Carolyn A. Curran, 48, Ogden Street, East Liverpool, was fined $850, had her license suspended for six months, sentenced to three days in jail and required 50 hours community service for OVI breath .08 gram first offense and failure to reinstate a license.

Melissa M. Murphy, 35, Leake Street, East Palestine, was fined $675, given three days in jail, had her license suspended for six months and required 40 hours community service for OVI refusal with prior within 20 years.

A Feb. 4 pretrial was set for John D. Gbur, 48, Park Avenue, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly lunging at his first cousin, Jeffrey W. Winter, struggling with him and causing him to fall down the cellar stairs while both men were intoxicated on Saturday. Additionally, Gbur reportedly threatened when he gets out of jail he would get his 9 mm handgun and shoot both Winter and his girlfriend.

A Feb. 8 pretrial was set for Charles D. Green, 29, Knox School Road, Alliance, charged with assault for allegedly pushing and elbowing Andrew Conner in the chest during an argument over who could use the washer in the home on Saturday.

A Feb. 8 pretrial was set for Joseph O. Altenburg, 28, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to shoot and kill Lee Knight on Monday.

A March 14 pretrial was set for Ricky A. Reynolds, 25, Columbia Street, Leetonia, charged with domestic violence for allegedly going to the Corner Pocket on Saturday and taking the keys of her husband, Shawn Reynolds, while in the bar, leading to an argument and ending with her grabbing him by the face leaving scratch marks.

Kaylin Ferguson, 22, Morton Street, East Liverpool, was fined $280 for failure to reinstate a license and loud exhaust.

Cherie R. Nelson, 46, Steubenville, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and a seatbelt violation.

Mildren Elaine Iler, 42, state Route 45, Lisbon, was fined $525 and required 50 hours community service for driving under suspension, failure to reinstate a license and a red light violation.

Christopher M. Pagan, 21, Springfield Road, New Springfield, was fined $250 and required 50 hours community service for driving under FRA suspension.

Gary M. Yarosz Jr., 30, Toronto, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

LISBON – Pretrials were set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for two men allegedly caught by Harold Feezle on his property at Rollerena Auto Sales last Friday. A March 15 pretrial was set for Samuel A. Masters, 21, New Castle, Pa., and a March 22 pretrial was set for Hunter L. Joy, 22, Enon Valley, Pa. Both men are charged with criminal trespassing.

Victoria L. Mauer, 34, Boardman, was fined $280 for driving under suspension and improper registration.

Samuel M. Stacey III, 41, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension. A speeding citation was dismissed.

Roger D. Brown, 59, Washington Street, Washingtonville, was fined $200, credited with 23 days in jail and ordered 40 hours community service for domestic violence. Brown was ordered to have no contact with Lynn Brown, who he struck in the face on Jan. 4.

Timothy L. Long, 37, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from use of an unauthorized plate.

Casey E. Garvin, 32, Rock Springs, Wy., was fined $150 for lighted lights amended from speeding.

Kevin W. Debeaulieu, 48, Lowellville, was fined $100 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

A Feb. 8 pretrial was set for Arsell E. Allen, South Freedom Avenue, Alliance, charged with assault for allegedly pushing Vincent Wisenbarger to the ground, punching him and kicking him after he entered his home on state Route 644, Kensington.

A March 22 pretrial was set for Richard W. Brown, cited with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years, left of center, open container, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Wesley A. Henry, 35, North Market Street, East Palestine, charged with resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct. Henry allegedly was intoxicated, broke a window out of his apartment above the Coffee Stop in East Palestine and was yelling profanities from the ledge on Jan. 17. He eventually came to the door with an 11-inch hammer in his right hand and both hands covered in blood.
