Farkas — Giorgio
COPLEY — Ashlee Farkas and Thomas Giorgio were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 15 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents.
Josh Horner officiated. A reception followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Carol Farkas of New Waterford. Dr. Gary and Theresa Giorgio of Copley are the groom’s parents.
The bride was attired in an ivory floor length gown with six layers of silk and lace. A waist length veil completed her ensemble. She was escorted to the altar by her father and a Siberian husky in memory of her deceased brother,, Jeffrey Farkas.
Bridesmaids wearing sky blue floor length gowns were Dana Bowles of Lisbon, Marie Horner and Monica Giorgio. Groomsmen were Dr. Dan Giorgio, Eric Jolly and Joe Giorgio.
The bride is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., receiving a degree in biology. She earned her master’s degree from Binghamton University in Binghamton, B.Y. She is a teacher for the Summit County School System.
The groom is an Akron University graduate and is employed at Midwest Engineering and Automation.
The couple is residing in Copley.
