Parks — Werling
ANNAPOLIS — Sierra Lin Pualani Parks became the bride of Joshua Scott Werling on Dec. 18 at the Governor Calvert House in Annapolis, Md.
The bride is the daughter of Joyce Harris, Salem, and Rodney Parks, Norfolk, Va.
The groom is the son of Laurie Endres, Beloit, Wis., and Bill and Kim Werling, Okinawa, Japan.
Pastor Joey Tomassoni officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Allison Parks, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Brooke Williams, Sarah Bernhardt, Mallory Hughes, cousin of the bride, Sebring; Ashley Edmond, Rachel Sell, Rota, Spain; Sierra Knoch, and Kelsie Pierson, Kent, all served as her bridesmaids. Flower girls were Audrey Endres and Reagan Sponaugle
Mason Chatmon, brother of the groom, Beloit, Wis., served as best man; Tim Waterman, Sam Lacinski, Joey Mullvain, Beloit, Wis., Zachary Parks, brother of the bride, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Ben Boeck, and Andy Kuo. Mason Sponaugle served as the ring bearer.
A reception for 85 guests was held on the Catherine Marie Yacht, Annapolis City Docks.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of United Local High School and a 2015 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, with a bachelor of science degree in oceanography and is currently stationed aboard the USS Winston S. Churchill as the gunnery and ordnance officer in Norfolk, Va.
The groom is a 2015 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor of science degree in oceanography. After graduating from Naval Dive and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) he is currently training at the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
Following a honeymoon to Grande St. Lucian resort in Saint Lucia, the couple will reside in San Diego.
