Paine — Walter
EAST PALESTINE – Melinda Beth Paine and Jason Christopher Walter were united in marriage on Aug. 29 at Hilliard Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter of Harold and Kara Paine, East Palestine.
The groom is the son of Christopher and Kimberly Walter, Columbus.
Pastor Robert Armstrong performed the ceremony with musical arrangements by Randy Warner and Megan (Duncan) Maxwell. Scripture readings were read by Tiffany (Faust) Greene and Brian Walter.
The bride wore an ivory gown with an embroidered bodice and a dropped waistline, featuring a strapless, sweetheart neckline, adorned with delicate embroidery and Swarovski crystals.
Erica Morrow, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Torie McGraw, Kristie McGraw, cousins of the bride; Paula Paine, Julie Paine and Danielle Walter, sister-in-laws of the bride; Brooke Mowery, Deanna Dobos, Nicole Niermeyer, Taylor Hammond and Lauren Czerwinski, friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Aubrey Raphael, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Alexa Paine, niece of the bride.
Serving as the best man, was brother of the groom, Ryan Walter. Groomsmen were Jamey and Jared Paine, brothers of the bride; Craig McGraw, cousin of the bride; Luke Raphael, Dan and Brian DeLucia, cousins of the groom; Matt Lilly, Steve Mamak, Mark Skelly, Ryan Ferst, Jeff Mahler, Corey Bradham, and Russ Niermeyer, friends of the groom. Tanner and Kade Morrow served as junior groomsmen, cousins of the bride. Jace Morrow served as the ring bearer, cousin of the bride.
A reception for approximately 350 guests followed at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbus. Following a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas Mexico, the couple reside in Hilliard.
