Leffel — Ryan
LEETONIA – Jaclyn N. Leffel and Andrew F. Ryan were united in marriage on Oct. 17 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Leetonia.
The bride is the daughter of David Leffel and Melanie Dolak, Leetonia. Parents of the groom are Thomas and Carol Ryan, Leetonia.
The Rev. Robert Edwards and Deacon Larry Pasko officiated at the couple’s private, double-ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
Nuptial music was provided by Joe McKim and Anthony Horvath.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a Jasmine Couture ivory floor-length mermaid style gown featuring an illusion v-neckline with a beaded lace bodice. The gown was embellished with a champagne beaded embroidered sash, and a flared tulle skirt with a tiffany train and accented with a cathedral veil. The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, Sahara roses, and Dusty Miller entwined with Swarvoski pearl rosary beads made by her mother.
LeeAnne Warner of Leetonia, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Rebecca Ryan of Virginia, sister of the groom, and Gina Jones of Columbus, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaids. They wore wine colored floor-length chiffon dresses.
Performing the duties of best man was Shawn Ryan, of Fresno, Calif., brother of the groom. Lee Warner of Leetonia, brother-in-law of the bride, and Luke Newton of Leetonia, friend of the groom, served as groomsmen.
A reception at the Barn and Gazebo in Salem followed the ceremony.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Leetonia High School and The Ohio State University. The bride received a bachelor’s degree in special education in 2013 and is an intervention specialist at East Palestine Elementary School. The groom received a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition in 2014 and is currently at Walsh University, earning a doctoral degree in physical therapy. The couple resides in Salem.
