Tice — Watson

EAST LIVERPOOL – Betty Jean Tice and Vincent James Watson were united in marriage on June 19 in East Liverpool and was officiated by Stephanie M. Cope, Minister.

The bride is the daughter of Regina and R. J. Moore, Jr., East Palestine, and of the late Robert G. Tice, Jr.

The groom is the son of Marsha Watson, East Liverpool, and Jeff and Kris Watson, East Liverpool.

The bride wore a white-on-white satin A-line style gown with a beaded halter bodice and lace-up back. The gown featured a white split-front insert with white lace appliques. The empire waist was accented with a red sash adorned with white beaded embroidery, draping down the chapel-length train leading to its white beaded appliqued edge. She wore a silver tiara and one-tier, mid-length veil. Crystal accents adorned the headpiece which featured an open-leaf design.

The bride’s bouquet included red and black silk roses with small, white, accent buds, black ribbon, and featured long, red satin ribbons with silver lettering “In Loving Memory of Daddy.”

Rebecca (Tice) Anderson, Peoria, Ariz., the bride’s sister, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Amber (Evans) Quarterman and Jamie Six, both of East Liverpool; Junior Attendant was Siera Anderson, Peoria, Ariz., the bride’s niece; flower girl was Lillian Moore, Darlington, Pa., the bride’s niece; and Amy Tice, East Palestine, the bride’s sister, greeted guests.

Phil Mays, East Liverpool, was Best Man. Groomsmen were Brad Stewart of Irondale, and Kevin Alford, East Liverpool; junior attendant Devin Anderson, Peoria, Ariz., the bride’s nephew; ushers were Robert G. Tice, III, East Palestine, brother of the bride, and Kevin Anderson, Peoria, Ariz., brother-in-law of the bride.

An evening wedding reception was held at the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in Chester, W.Va.

The newlyweds spent the night in the Honeymoon suite at Mountaineer. The couple will delay their honeymoon until next year at which time they plan to vacation on the South Pacific island of Bora Bora.

The bride and groom are both employed by the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in Chester, W.Va. and reside in East Liverpool.
